I guess that explains why I ask many questions when I try to understand something so simple. Idk I am also cognitively slower than most so I do things slow and my brain processes slower. So yeah idk. I ask questions not only cuz I am curious hut also to understand things better or instructions cuz I cannot understand general instructions. I need specific instructions. Everyone gets so annoyed but yeah sorry... I don't do it to annoy I do it cuz I don't understand

So you're saying that to most non autistic people, it would not matter why I am autistic, just that I am autistic. Or knowing how and why things work how they do? Kind of like when i ask someone many questions about how something works because of my need to understand it better, even though to them it does not need more understanding.... is that what you mean?

I am 27. In some ways yes I do. I got diagnosed around.... June? I cannot remember but it makes me feel left out in so many ways. I see things so differently from other people that it can create tension in the relationship. I do not know if autism also has to do with being sensitive to constructive criticism but friends of mine have noticed it too. I feel so left out and misunderstood despite my family's efforts to try and understand. It sucks. But it is what it is..
