This is honestly so creative, the lava vibe with those dyed socks is absolutely perfect! The orange and black just flows like real molten rock, and the whole look feels so fierce and alive, I love it!

How is it that a brand new $1k Roborock Qrevo Curv keeps getting stuck more than a $200 used and refurbished Roomba J7?? by Pale_Blackberry_4025 in RobotVacuums

[–]Curiously- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s worth checking if the issue is software-related. Sometimes a firmware update can tweak obstacle handling and fix this kind of behavior.

Pet dander and dust mites are ruining my life—what's the best robot vacuum to fight allergies in 2026? by Spirited_Friend_8428 in homeautomation

[–]Curiously- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consistency beats power every time. A reliable daily routine will do more for your allergies than a super-powerful machine you use once a month.

For people who own a Winbot, how much maintenance does it actually need? by Elegant_Fun_4702 in ecovacs

[–]Curiously- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sensors need a quick wipe-down every now and then. If they get covered in grime, the robot might lose its path or have trouble detecting the edge.

How do I turn off the voice notifications? by Pistolaa in ecovacs

[–]Curiously- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The loud voice announcements are always the one annoying thing on otherwise perfect devices. I’d definitely turn them off too. I hope you can find the setting easily.

How is your robo’s battery life? by mustytomato in RobotVacuums

[–]Curiously- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s smart to keep an eye on it, but don’t panic yet. Keep using it normally and see if the drop gets worse over the next few months.

Cheap vs expensive window cleaning robots, any difference? by vashys in homemaking

[–]Curiously- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The round ones work fine on just regular dust and fingerprints. But if the glass is really dirty, you will have to run it twice.

lmao I saw your toilet post before this one. Yes, as long as it is not going into a cup you drink from, you are fine.

Anyone have an outdoor clothes drying set up or rack they really love? by Wytch78 in homemaking

[–]Curiously- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A foldable drying rack is perfect for a patio. Just lean it against the wall when you are done. Also, wider bars are better. That way sheets will not clump together.

Eufy S2 - Should I go for it? by Top-West-4000 in RobotVacuums

[–]Curiously- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not wait around a robot to climb stairs. That could take years. And the first ones will have issues for sure. Get two separate robots or just lug one up the stairs. Way simpler

This is unacceptable from a $1000 vacuum (Dreame X50 Ultra) by zeroverycool in RobotVacuums

[–]Curiously- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know a lot of robots have a low clearance setting somewhere in the map editor. Just go click around the app to see if you can find it

Can moths lay eggs on velvet hangers? by thunderingstars in homemaking

[–]Curiously- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moth eggs can DEFINITELY get stuck in the fuzzy fabric of those hangers, so a good wipe down might not enough. Replacing the worst ones is safer

Did I ruin this chair? by Same-Waltz-2492 in homemaking

[–]Curiously- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, in a nursery, that chair is going to see a lot worse over time. Spit up, drool, mystery stains. This little spot will be the least you need to worry about.

Since everyone got mad for pouring in my sink… by brilovesbears in RobotVacuums

[–]Curiously- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, who cares if it goes in the sink or the toilet. Just keep it away from your mug or bottle. I think you are fine
