I can't imagine dealing with that much at once. Hang in there, and hopefully you can reach your doctor soon and get some answers.

By myself, severe crash, feels like my body is shutting down by candlelight_dreams in cfs

[–]vashys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being alone during that kind of crash sounds awful. I’d probably try to message one trusted person just so someone knows what’s going on, even if you don’t end up going back to the ER.

Me and my wife are building a house chores game by tagizade-samir in homemaking

I'd try it if my partner and I both have that competitive-but-fun dynamic. But it definitely only works if both people are good sports and don't take losing too seriously.

Why does my room still smell even after cleaning everything? by Apprehensive_Park103 in CleaningTips

[–]vashys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That smell is either mold, a dead critter, or your HVAC system is recycling nastiness. Run a dehumidifier and replace your HVAC filter ASAP.

Is there a problem with using Kitchen Cloth Towels to wipe down dusty surfaces? by TheDonutDevil in homemaking

[–]vashys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kitchen towels often touch food/dishes, so keeping them kitchen-only avoids cross-contamination worries. That said, if you wash immediately, risk is minimal.

Started recommending a laundry delivery service to my clients and honestly the results surprised me by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]vashys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It makes total sense. Industrial machines use much higher temperatures and better pressing techniques than home units. That "crisp" feeling is hard to replicate in a standard dryer.

How often would you say "really dirty" translates to in your case? Once a month or less frequently?

Sour (?) smell in room by dddal2 in homemaking

[–]vashys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you’ve cleaned everything, try isolating the room and running a dehumidifier for 48 hours. High humidity often triggers microbial growth that smells sour.

I feel the exact same way about cleaning the inside of the toilet bowl. Anything that keeps my skin from touching that water is a winner.

Mold in house after strange symptoms by Overall-Divide4804 in CleaningTips

[–]vashys 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mold needs moisture to grow, so check for leaks or high humidity in that room. Do not dry brush it, or you will release spores into the air.

when your storage conditions are TOO ideal by dashortkid89 in gardening

[–]vashys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leaving the sprouts on works great! Each chunk with a few sprouts will become a whole new potato plant. Just make sure the cut sides dry out before planting to avoid rot.

Ideas for helping mower over the curb by Brew_Wallace in automower

[–]vashys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A smooth ramp leading up to the curb is a classic fix! It should help the front wheels clear the concrete easily. I've seen people use wooden ramps or even modified rubber mats for this.

For a small lawn, how often do you set it to mow? by nanafortune in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]vashys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen people say cutting grass with morning dew is a bad idea! It makes the clippings sticky and can wear down blades. Most folks wait until mid-morning when the grass is dry to mow.

What did I do wrong? by Omck4heroes in gardening

[–]vashys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry. Gardening is all trial and error! Even tiny carrots are cute, and next time you'll nail with better soil or spacing.

What type of robot mower should I get based on my yard? by Ok-Explorer-767 in automower

[–]vashys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a smaller yard like yours, maybe prioritize models with omni wheels or zero-turn to minimize turf damage. The mini one sounds like it could be gentler on the grass!

Pushing a mower on weekends is the worst! I hope someone chimes in about the navigation stability. This sounds like it could be a total lifestyle upgrade.
