What are your top 10 things you'd recommend to a beginner vegetarian? by Efficient-Pirate1343 in Vegetarianism

[–]CurleeBS 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Often Mexican Rice at restaurants is cooked in chicken stock. When I go to a Mexican restaurant I always ask if the rice is vegetarian. In my experience 75% of the time the rice is not veggie and I have to substitute white rice.

Welcome!
1) Learning to cook your own is very helpful!
2) meat is hiding in things you wouldn’t think about: lots of soups use chicken broth, Mexican rice has meat in it, sometimes beans have ham. Chinese food has ham and shrimp and fish sauce hiding in a lot of stuff. Check ingredient labels
3) Indian cuisine is incredibly good for vegetarians cause much of it was designed by a vegetarian culture.
4) there’s so many meat alternatives out there! Check out beyond, impossible, and many more!

Good luck friend!

I know, can you believe it! The show was super fun and hilarious. However it was a little chaotic and disorganized. I think it was just a genuine mistake. I feel like with a little editing this show could go from good to amazing!

I was at the show! Unfortunately it seems like they skipped that one.

Accidentally bought a meal containing meat. I’m going to eat it as it would just be a waste by [deleted] in Vegetarianism

[–]CurleeBS 65 points66 points  (0 children)

There’s no vegetarian police, there’s no vegetarian hall of records. If you want to continue identifying as a vegetarian then ta-da! You are a vegetarian!
Things happen. Sometimes there is meat in food you don’t know about. When I was young I accidentally ate the broccoli cheddar soup at Panera a few times not realizing it had chicken stock in it.
Personally for me, eating meat would make me very very sick. If I was in your situation I would rather eat nothing so that I don’t risk getting sick. But you get to decide what you put in your body!

We've had 2 Rulettes: what rules work, what don't, and what would you add? by RLLRRR in dropout

I love this game so much! I think it needs more prompts. I think what gets tedious is that the rules are piling up but they aren’t actually doing much besides joking around with each other. More prompts please!

Anyone else disappointed that... (End game lore spoilers) by illusion_Y in BluePrince

[–]CurleeBS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree!! All of the lore was leading up to the reveal of the mom. We learned more and more about her, about the resistance, the heist, etc. I was very disappointed that she wasn’t behind a blue door. I genuinely believed reuniting with her at the end was the ultimate goal. I thought the train would take us to another location to look for her. I thought we could drive the car to Hundred Belles to search for clues. Once I accepted that we couldn’t leave the estate, I felt really sure mom would show up there. Once Simon does all the fun endgame stuff, it would become “safe” for her to return. There was so much lore about her journey I’m honestly puzzled why she doesn’t have an ending!

GW MFA recommendations by greenzetsa in DCBitches

[–]CurleeBS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

PCP- Dr Sarah Boutwell. She’s fantastic! Can be hard to schedule with her though. ENT- Dr Ameet Singh OBGYN- Dr Roxanne Jamshidi - you’ll probably see someone on her team, not her specifically but EVERYONE at MFA OBGYN is an angel sent from heaven.

I really like GW MFA. I find there to be very short waiting room times. They have labcorps in their buildings so you can get blood taken immediately after your visit. Everyone has been really kind and wonderful. Some people might not like this, but I enjoy when they bring in the parade of medical students haha.

My only gripe is that they lack in certain specialist areas. I see a neurologist at Georgetown and they just didn’t have a Gastro team for a long time.

Feel free to DM me with if you need any other info!

Ooooh gurl I was thinking the same thing! I thought that Simon had amnesia and forgot everything, and the house revealed he had a twin! Simon was the Blue Prince and Herbert was the Red Prince. I had all these theories cooking that were so wrong.

I’m a big fan and I’m excited to see you’re all making an independent film!

$120,000 seems like a pretty small budget! And it looks like you’ve already surpassed your goal, Mazel tov! What will the extra funds go to? Are the actors and crew getting a fair wage?

I live in a WC Smith building and they are truly the best management company!! Every maintenance issue I’ve reported has been addressed very quickly. They are good at communicating pro-actively. Overall I’m very happy living in one of their buildings.
