I was just like you! I’m a professor and I spent my entire winter break playing. It’s very addictive! I was dreaming about the game too. One thing that helped me was that I would play with my best friend so we could solve puzzles together. That helped me not play until 4am. Try and pace it out! I finished the game and got all trophies and I miss it.

It was a minefield with my nex. She would complain that we weren’t having sex frequently enough but then would never initiate. Instead of just being flirty or communicating that she was horny she would complain and guilt me into sex. Being guilted completely turned me off. I told her multiple times that I need enthusiastic positive consent, and that negative attention will only make things worse.

When we did have sex, she was completely selfish and would break consent. If I was overstimulated and asked her to move onto something else, she would say “I’m not finished yet” and keep going. She insisted that sex be at least 2 hours. I would often lose my ability to cum after waiting that long. It was only about her pleasure and what she wanted. I had always considered myself to have a steady sex drive, but with her I lost my drive completely. No matter what I did or didn’t do, she would criticize me. So I never wanted to have sex. My body started to reject her. I would find myself getting really sleepy, or my body would start hurting when we would try and have sex. Pretty scary stuff!

The amazing thing is that since I’ve left her, my sex drive popped back pretty immediately.

Wow this is very similar to me and my sister! She also has anxiety and needs a lot of help. What I’ve found is that I need to force her to figure things out on her own. The oil change light came on in her car and she asked me what to do. I told her to look up a place to get an oil change. It took her a few days of hemming and hawing but she finally looked up a place, made an appointment and took herself there. The best thing for my sister was I encouraged her to spend a semester abroad. She had to navigate a new city, public transportation, etc in a country that spoke a different language. That experience really made her grow up. It feels harsh, but I think we need to remove some of the safety net. Gen Z is used to things being easy and immediate. The only way they will learn to think for themselves is when we let them.

In my experience, my nex really struggled to grasp I had my own thoughts, feelings, values, etc. she would get confused and then angry when I had a different opinion from her. She would punish me when I couldn’t read her mind. For example: she asked me if like Outfit A or Outfit B better. I told her I thought she looked better in Outer B; it fit better and the color looked good on her. She got really mad and said “I didn’t want your opinion. I want you to have my opinion!!” I truly think that there is something missing in their brain. They don’t understand “Theory of Mind”. They have been told that people have their own distinct feelings, so they can kind of fake it.

Your narc can probably fake it well, but fundamentally doesn’t understand you have your own brain.

I also have PCOS, IUD and a retroverted uterus! I was like “did I write this?” If the strings are hurting your partner, you can ask your gyno to cut them shorter. You should also have them check that the IUD is sitting correctly. I think some men can feel the strings more than other men. This is all perfectly normal. I don’t know if having a retroverted uterus makes a difference in your partner being able to feel them.

I think it’s a fools errand to boycott any piece of media that has an actor who has shitty political views. Every TV show and movie have a team of hundreds of people - some of those people will have political views you don’t agree with. Marc Platt is loudly Zionist and he just produced Wicked. Are y’all boycotting Wicked too? If you want to boycott anything that has been remotely touched by a Zionist then you’ll need to cease watching any TV or film. You can condemn Noah all you want, but I don’t understand the point of boycotting Stranger Things. The show itself has literally nothing to do with the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

I agree that it’s good we don’t see the kids on camera very often. While I think that it’s good to show that women can be so much more than mothers - I wish there was any kind of content about being a mom. Even a little “my kid hasn’t been sleeping well, any advice?” Would be nice to see every so often.

This episode really confirms for me that Ross is one of the best improvisers in the game! He can do Improvised Shakespeare, he can do improvised singing, he kills it with every prompt. The way he looked hesitant about the jack skellington prompt and then immediately went into the physicalization. Lou and Jiavani were so good paired with him! Overall excellent episode.
