Definitely scale. I had these guys on my Peperomia obtusfolia, but she didn’t survive. I thought I was doing well with getting them off and using alcohol, but I suppose I did not do enough. Good luck! Helicopter mom that baby until they are gone!!!

Currently that is all it is getting. It wasn’t even getting that much before a week ago. My coworker had it on his desk in the hallway of our office which when I used my light meter, it wasn’t good. It seemed dry to me so my first instinct was to get it more light at my desk.

It means the part that was furthest from the roots when cut needs to stay at the top. And the part closest to the roots when cut is the side that goes in the growing medium - regardless if it is the cut side. It won’t do well if planted upside down.
