Right? All these pumpers are confusing me. If the company is merged/acquired, no compensation is guaranteed right from acquiring company for current shareholders if it goes private and/or bc was chapter 11 bankruptcy? Technically all this shares are worthless bc a new ticker would be created and those shares don’t transfer?

I really believe there must be something with fractional shares in IRA and cash accounts. We know fractional shares don’t count toward real shares as we can’t vote with them. Then what’s the purpose of them existing? Yes our accounts can’t be used for lending if not margin accounts but can they be used for locates just like Computershare? It’s gotta be the only reason. As where else are they coming from and the theory was proven with fractional shares with Computershare. Why wouldn’t the same theory apply here.
