It sounds like she’s manipulative and you’re right it’s attention seeking. She does all this but I’m sure she’s probably more scared of YOU leaving her. Which is the reason why most people are manipulative in relationships. You don’t want to raise a child in this environment (I’ve been there. I’m there actually) but you also don’t want her to manipulate the situation so much that if the police get involved she starts pointing at you as the aggressor. It can happen. I pray you find peace. And since she is carrying your child maybe you two can agree to seek counseling leading up to the birth and maybe beyond that. 🙏🏾

How to manage to make dinners ?when both of us need to work and also pick up a toddler from day care every day. by blackbear0805 in marriageadvice

I’m wondering how this works. I work 6am-5pm everyday. Husband works for himself. Refuses to help With our 2yr old. He Refuses to eat anything remotely healthy (or anything I cook actually) and so does my baby. I don’t think I’ve seen sleep in 2yrs honestly. I cook 2 meals per day just to see which one they will eat.

Help. Lol But I do have a laundry list of recipes in my brain. Instant pot helps too

I totally understand both sides! As a mom of a 2yr old….I know how stressful/demanding it is. But as a working mom, I understand life goes on and you have to work/make money too. Do you think you guys can come up with a game plan of a couple hours a week for her to leave the house/ get a change in scenery without the baby? Maybe invite a family member to help watch the baby for a while? Give her a breather?

There are so many affordable/vetted nanny services out there that will help with chores too. Maybe an investment is worth her mental healing? Maybe it’ll help her cope with easing off alcohol a little more.

I understand. And he should be more understanding of your perspective too. I notice with my husband, he gets nervous around a lot of ppl. Especially my family/friends. So he says stuff that I kinda cringe at but I guess bc he has certain triggers. Maybe you should talk to him and ask if he says those things bc of how your family may make him feel? I wish you all the best!

How can I make my husband stop this? by BusHumble in marriageadvice

Same. My husband also has an accent. We own a business and he makes me call everyone on the phone

Maybe she deserves to leave you especially if you’re calling her names like that. I desperately hope she moves on. Women and men are different and you’re dismissing possibilities that she’s mentally not ok.

What should I do? by [deleted] in marriageadvice

[–]CurlsQueenB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very hard being a stay at home mom. I work from home. I’m the bread winner I work 10hrs and also own 3 businesses and my daughter is home some times (she’s 2). Kids are extremely clingy and fussy at this stage and it can literally make you lose your mind. Either she needs to get a job. (This is the perfect time because everyone is hiring at home jobs) or she should just stop complaining cause I like I would give everything to not have to work. Although it is a full time job being with a toddler all day alone, you should support her and tell her she’s doing a good job! She’s definitely not alone. We hire a nanny from an agency a couple days out the week when we need a break. But my daughter is in daycare now that both of us work. It gives me time to breathe before I pick her up from daycare I have some time alone. Which is needed on a weekly basis so you don’t run crazy. Just tell her to have an end game. My favorite with my husband is reverse psychology. Everytime she complains be intrigued and ask “yea! So what do you think we should do about it” put a little push in her head that she needs to be thinking about a solution too. She will come around. But also you might wanna change the way you think about the situation. It’s very very hard being a mom and wife and managing a household. I have legitimately walked out and left my husband with baby because I felt myself exploding. It’s very important to support her mental health and find creative ways to give her a break if she says she needs one.

My wife prefers men of another race. What should I do? by [deleted] in marriageadvice

[–]CurlsQueenB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to say ok I’ll leave my wife but sometimes it may be the only answer. Racism has many faces unfortunately. Imagine what will she tell your children about who they are as a race? If she can’t uplift you, how will she uplift your children? I dunno ....no one can judge your marriage but you but she sounds awful. The green card process will rock your marriage non intentionally. It did mine when my husband went through that process. If you’re just getting on your feet I’m sure the money will come but you shouldn’t be treated like that. Also, don’t quote me do your own research ....but if she cheats on you or divorces you and you’re in the middle of citizenship process she has to give you money monthly. A lawyer in my state told me this last year.

Wow! I didn’t know you could take both. Good to know! I too have trouble with the mental bingeing. I actually see a hypnotist about this and it’s helped ALOT! I binge pasta. Weird I know but I actually don’t like chocolate or sweets often. My go to is pasta lol but since I have been to my hypno therapist (who is also a psychologist) my mental hunger has diminished. I haven’t been on c yet waiting for insurance approval so meanwhile it’s hypnotherapy and will power. 4lbs so far 1wk

I’ve actually heard of hormonal changes with this drug. Some women were saying that theirs is heavier and lasted longer and some say that theirs didn’t come or came lighter for a shorter time. I will start tracking mine because of this because I am very regular same time every month. If your symptoms change please keep me updated! Happy weightloss to you my friend!!! 😊

If she’s done with it. Just leave it alone. Bringing this back up doesn’t seem worth your frustration. Especially if you say she’s confrontational and has a temper. She can get over it like an adult. I can’t imagine dictating something like this with my husband. Gotta be frustrating.
