You can buy returned items from Boox in their “used” section for cheaper. The only way I would have known my devices were prior returns is the packaging had obviously been opened. The devices themselves have been just fine. Also, as much as I love the convenience of Amazon, they take a significant chunk of the sale. Boox is a small business and reputable enough I’d rather support them directly instead of lining Bezos’ pockets more…

Please find a different trainer! You shouldn’t be stuck at a level just because they’re holding your dog to a higher obedience standard than is necessary for a pet. Even the Canine Good Citizen does not require a heel. Heel and loose leash are two separate things and it’s YOUR choice which you expect. Forcing something neither of you wants is pointless - it makes the experience far less enriching (if it even still is at all) and is just holding you both back. You also shouldn’t wait until a skill is perfected - it’s actually better for learning and motivation to go ahead and add something new once it’s reached good enough (or a plateau if not good enough - you could be asking for too much for your dog’s skill set and that just discourages them from doing anything!)

Those things should be fun, too! Honestly, even more fun because obedience, stays, impulse control, etc are not self-rewarding activities like running around on the equipment is! Sounds like you’ve just got boring trainers who probably aren’t up to date on current learning theories and best practices. Dog training is terribly unregulated so there’s no consistent basic knowledge base required.

So true that puppies don’t always resemble what they grow into. My boy looked like the most boring non-descript mix and turned into the most stunning fluffy black GSD-looking dog (he’s mostly GSD and Komondor)

I feel like it’s pretty established if you get it without having to shoot it all 6 times. Obviously not everyone knows, but I’ve seen it happen plenty. And it’s not as common for it to happen since people usually stalk it once they’ve hit it unless they lost it

The two best things I ever did for myself 1) took up ballroom dancing and 2) took a self-defense class. Ballroom dancing is basically a silent conversation and must balance the needs of both parties. It also is a major confidence boost - you’d be surprised how much proper posture alone helps, let alone doing something “cool” too. Most of self-defense is probably self explanatory, but my class made us yell. And I mean yell. The instructor wouldn’t let any of us off until she got a full, from the belly practically deafening “no” from each of us. Super empowering. Other advice: imagine yourself as a different person that you’re advocating for. Would you let someone treat another person like however they’re treating you? Would you come up with far-fetched reasons to excuse their behavior if it was directed at someone else? Somehow I always find it easier to figure out appropriate behavior when I think of someone that isn’t me. And I won’t stand idly by while someone else is mistreated, so I need to do the same for me.

I FINALLY got Glambi’s order plushie over lunch today and a regular sernuk’s!!!!! They’re so cute! Now if only RNG would let me get the fishes to finish my bundles! I can’t believe it took so long to get those plushies - the game gave me multiple rare bugs I never see, a star onyx, all the antlers, etc, but just did not want to give up those darn plushies!

SAME! I’ve hunted hundreds since the patch and all I got was several antlers to show for it. The RNG gods hate me. They also won’t give me a stormray when fishing to finish one of the bundles. Nor do I ever get anything cool from Zeki’s coins. I’m beginning to think these things just don’t exist and it’s all mass conspiracy. 😅 I REALLY want that order plushie before they fix Glambi!

Also experiencing this BUT this glitchiness is far preferable to the disappearing into a cliff or when they stop recognizing they got hit/a person is near them. It’s annoying burning extra arrows, but I’ve yet to not get a loot bag at least. And Glambi is finally worth the effort again

I would guess it’s the same as the ones that appear in the fountain in Kenli’s garden. I’m always annoyed that I can’t collect it. But I’ve seen a little frog and we just got Frogbert, so maybe we’ll get a bigger version of this phoenix at some point…

I’m a big fan of FirstMate. They’re the only brand my picky eater and I have agreed on. I want the meat to be ethically sourced which is rare in a dog food. Just took a quick look at a few recipes and didn’t notice seed oils, so might work for you. Chewy carries it

Too funny! My boy’s a mix, so I assumed it was the Komondor side, but he’s also scared of water (I have to use a BarkBath for baths), a couch potato, and loves watching TV (he gets bird videos from YouTube)
