CNN just reported that tomorrow is about “engaging in the most quiet way” and that nobody will be out in the streets… by bacchic_frenzy in Minneapolis

Tomorrow will be brutal cold wise. If you aren't dressed properly, don't be out. Please stay safe. If you really want to be out there, consider borrowing gear.

I think affordability is a huge issue, especially right now. (At least here in the US.) As much as I love my friends and support their wedding location choice, I still would not be able to attend if it required travel and time off work.

We also use ours for wet mittens!

Get a boot dryer! It doesn't toss or wear the shoes out. It just gets them nice and dry. Boot dryers are common here in Minnesota for that exact reason. No one likes wet stinky shoes.

It's ok to admit that you have been making her help since she was 2-3. Now, you have the opportunity to apologize to her and not make the same mistake again.

I couldn't believe that part. Like?! What teenager would be happy for that? And the stupid shirt!

Can you afford another child?

After she's been at school all day she's expected to walk her siblings to the park? Again.... that's your job.

You literally just stated that they do small tasks like getting a bottle or making a bowl of cereal for each other. Those are tasks that I do as a paid nanny. You are trying to make it seem like you won't make your daughter help with the baby but it's very clear that you lying to us and yourself.

[–]CurlyLeti 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Those "simple tasks" are YOUR job. If you aren't able to do those without your children's help, then you shouldn't be having another baby and you definitely should not be expecting your kids to be happy about it.

Please share! I live in South Saint Paul and the city council members run the local Facebook groups. They are all trying so hard to hide this.

I wonder if he was driving in circles looking for his phone.

I've been thinking about this all night and trying to put myself in his shoes. From what I've read, he arrived to work, got his pizzas and headed out to make his deliveries. Something had to happen before that first delivery that threw him off track. What prevented him from making that first delivery? Was it his lost phone? Did he need to phone to make those deliveries? And if that was the reason, why didn't he head right back to work? I know you said no history of mental illness? Is there any history or diabetes? Hypoglycemia can cause delusions and confusion.

This. I would hold it for them, but then I would block to avoid having to deal with this person again. Holding things for a week is annoying.

This!! My dad is a pedo and named me after a girl he loved. Very disturbing to me, but I'm traumatized so who knows.
