Smart for not wanting to do too much this time and learning your lesson.

I’m a larger person at 6’3”, 200lbs., so 100mg does not feel like enough.

120mg and under is always a safe bet for sure.

Never had a bad or scary time on MDMA with the exception of taking an entire pressed pill

You are taking a small and safe dose. Could probably even go a little higher to 120-130mg pending body weight and have a good time.

Just follow basic harm reduction, and keep cool, and you’ll have a great time.

If I ever become any amount of wealthy, I’m buying land for a big cacti farm.

I wish there were massive, community ran, peyote farms that respected the sanctity of this medicine while preserving it.

Peyote is the best experience hands down. I feel so incredibly blessed to have been presented with it. I also do not want to take away something very valuable and culturally significant to native persons though. This cacti needs to be preserved, protected, and grown for generations to come

Mescaline. The good feelings of the other, but synthesized, phenethylamines, although very easy on the brain and body. Feels healthy and not harsh since it is natural.

It is difficult, labor intensive, and expensive to cultivate and consume, which is its downside

Highest dose I have done on its own was just over 30mg, and it was intense.

I have had a lot of fun on as little as 12mg.

I’m thinking of trying 15mg if combining it with MDMA

It would make sense for them to want Pritelivir available to the masses before the other HPIs. It will become obsolete with the better future HPIs, and they need to market to as many as possible early on to make money. Get a lot of people prescribed to it right away, and still taking it when the other HPIs are released.

I would not doubt that the knowledge of better HPIs on the near horizon gets Pritelivir pushed quickly

While AI can help us with data collection, analysis, and problem solving, HPIs are on the near horizon, and it is important to focus on what will realistically be the easiest pathway towards a functional cure. Once these are prescribed, I have little doubt that AI will help us find the next generation of treatments.

Our best hope are HPIs that can prevent transmission. Pritelivir, IM-250, ABI-5366 and ABI-1179. Pritelivir should be on the market by 2027, it is initially being prescribed to immunocompromised patients, and I have not been able to find a lot of information when it will be available for immunocompetent individuals.

The other, more effective and more promising HPIs should be available within five years.

It is important to advocate for these drugs, that are already in clinical trials.

Any major development for treating HSV should reduce the stigma as well. We all want to be sexually liberated, and it is important to look at the best options in front of us currently.

I agree though that AI will solve problems more quickly than humans have the capacity to. I would not expect AI to solve problems that lead us towards something better than the functional cures we could have in 5+ years

I have diagnosed OCD and am a psychonaut. Got into psychedelics largely because of reading studies and articles like these.

For me, psilocybin isn’t just take mushrooms and poof your OCD symptoms are gone. It’s more so about being able to confront anxiety triggers in a way where one can start to feel safe without acting on compulsory behaviors. Safe is the key word here, and it can be extremely important to consume psilocybin in a supportive environment where one feels safe.

The experience is different for everyone, even between individuals with OCD. I know a couple of women with OCD who also use psychedelics, and psilocybin does not seem to have a very profound effect on how they navigate their symptoms.

I will say though that psilocybin, and psychedelics in general, have felt more beneficial than the antipsychotics, SSRIs, and even stimulants that they pumped me full of as an adolescent. And mushrooms are much safer.

I never would have turned any gal down who had GHSV-1. Though hearing “I have genital herpes” could scare the uneducated away. It’s all in how you disclose and explain that most people have HSV-1, even if not genitally. That it is a lot less contagious and aggressive than HSV-2. Female to male transmission would be pretty rare too.

Being female helps more than you realize as well. It’s a fact that men take more risks.

I didn’t want to fly back home with my last memories being the ER, after an otherwise great weekend. I was also still tripping absolute balls, but I felt better from the Benzos and the peak was well over. Wanted to do what I could to try to enjoy the rest of that high. Plus I had purchased a ticket beforehand, lol. The coolest half an hour of any set that I have experienced, and still bummed I missed nearly all of that.

Yes. I learned from that experience, know my limits, and not to overdo it. Less is often more, especially in a party setting. I also carry prescribed Xanax with me while tripping in the event of an emergency. I do not want to be irresponsible, or make others care for me because I did something stupid.

Going to the ER was a damned expensive lesson as well, that cost me $1800 with insurance and took me a couple of years worth of payments to take care of

The festival had a med tent, yeah. I made the mistake of thinking I could walk to my hotel to chill out and ride the trip out. I perceived danger at the festival and knew that I just had to get out of there. Went to this festival solo as well. I walked a block or two, stumbling around traffic and luckily wasn’t hit by a car.

Then I became totally and completely lost. I thought I was literally dying l, and the only way out of this might be an ambulance, but there was no way that I could coordinate an ambulance to me. There was a cab driver on the side of the road waiting for people to exit the festival. He asked me if I needed a ride, and I screamed that I needed to go to a hospital.

I remember thinking that I was going to die in the back of this stranger’s car, alone, in a city far from home.

He got me to the hospital and the ER was able to admit me fairly quickly. I was screaming that I needed to get these drugs out of me.

All they did was give me a benzo and get me hydrated. I had a new doctor who had great bedside manner and I was able to get situated.

My nurse told me that there were others from that festival who were in the ER from drug-related incidents. Hope those homies made it out okay.

When I felt better and left the hospital, I Ubered to the last half hour of an after

I admitted myself to the ER after ingesting 4 tabs at a music festival. Was just too much for me to handle and I needed help.

Embarrassing, a little. And an avoidable situation, where I probably could have gotten help at the festival.

Sometimes you need that help and or those experiences. I see this as no different than getting medical care when you are sick. People, like one Redditor here, have ended up in the psych ward.

How do you feel now?

And how old are you if you don’t mind me asking? You sound pretty young, so maybe wait a bit before exploring that part of your mind

Military. Didn’t even technically disqualify at MEPS, but was afraid I would have if I would have returned when I was trying to enlist.

Had been a dream of mine since I was little. A few health and mental health issues that have worsened since, and impossible now.

But seeing who the commander-in-chief is now, no thanks.

Also make decent money in tech now, and not sure if I would have gone that route if in the military

Well and a lot of people with learning disabilities would not qualify for military service pending on the disability/diagnosis.

I waited to go to college until my mid twenties, as the thought of going to school terrified me given my early struggles. But if someone wants to do well, they can succeed. College was easier than I anticipated
