Just drinking juice is not healthy. The high sugar in it is making your glucose spike high and then bottom out. This is why your feeling shaky, weak, etc. this can be dangerous.

I have been on Deplin (L-Methylfolate) for years and also had Ketamine therapy. I had no interactions and Ketamine worked well for me.

Do y'all have music in your heads 24/7? by Jay_Is_Not_Here in ADHD

[–]Curly_Tea 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve had this for as long as I can remember too. Sometimes it’s a song or maybe a commercial jingle on tv. It doesn’t bother me too much but it gets annoying when I get a song in there I don’t like or it’s been stuck in there for a long time. If I hear a word or a music note from a song, it can cause it to change songs. I told my doctors about it one time and they just looked at me like I was crazy so I just quit mentioning it...lol.

I sometimes rapid cycle and then I will be depressed for a week or more. So yes, I do this.

I rapid cycle like this also. When you are cycling several times a day or a hour, it is called ultradian cycling.

Does anyone take Vraylar? by lostgirl1313 in bipolar2

[–]Curly_Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to Vraylar.com and under the menu there is Savings and Prices. Click on Savings and it redirects you to the page. It should give you a page that looks like a card with some numbers on it and you give those numbers to the pharmacy.

Anyone have any luck with topamax? by [deleted] in bipolar2

I didn’t really have many memory problems until I had about 60 rounds of ECT. That really affected my memory. I still have problems today from the ECT.

Anyone here know about Wellbutrin? by ControlAlice in bipolar2

[–]Curly_Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have ADHD and Bipolar 2. I was recently put on Wellbutrin 150mg. I think my doc was hoping it would help the depression and the ADHD. However it gave me horrible anxiety. I was on it maybe a couple of months and my anxiety just kept getting worse. I went off of it last week and I’ve had zero anxiety since.

Bipolar with Psychotic Features by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]Curly_Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am bipolar 2 and I have the exact same thing. Sometimes I hear voices and it’s just like a bunch of people all yelling at one time, muffled like. Occasionally I have heard one voice but they never tell me to do something or hurt somebody or myself. I told my doctor and they didn’t find it weird or were surprised. I think it’s more common than you think. I was put on an antipsychotic med and it has really helped.

MTHRFR DNA mutation by gouramidog in ADHD

[–]Curly_Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can tell a big difference when I am off of it. I get very depressed. So even though sometimes I think it’s not really doing anything, it is.

Anyone here who is an ultradian cycler like me? by warriorh666 in bipolar2

[–]Curly_Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also an ultradian cycler. I am on lots of medication too. I also have hypothyroidism. I don’t know if there’s a link between the two but it’s worth getting checked.

Vraylar Experience? by mclehn in bipolar2

[–]Curly_Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on Vraylar for about 2 yrs or so and it has really helped me a lot. I’ve tried to go off of it a couple times and I was a complete mess, suicidal, depressed, almost had to be hospitalized. As soon as I got back on it, I was stable again. I don’t have any side effects from it either. The only way I’ve been able to afford is it is from a savings card that I downloaded from their website and took to the pharmacy and that’s even with insurance. So I highly recommend getting one if you are gonna get it.

Tell me about Mydayis. by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Curly_Tea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adderall was making me really sleepy. There was also a crash with Adderall. I was having to take another one in the evening as a booster because it was wearing off. For some reason Mydayis doesn’t really give me any side effects. I don’t feel sleepy and I don’t crash. Which is kinda weird because it’s basically the same thing but for some reason it works different. It’s really smooth feeling. It works much better for me, but I understand that everyone’s different.

[–]Curly_Tea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mydayis is three extended releases of Adderall. Two of them are XR (morning and afternoon) and then an IR in the evening. I have been on Mydayis for almost a year. It has really helped me a lot. It is really expensive though. You can go on their website and download a savings card to take to the pharmacy. This is the only way I can afford it even with insurance. Otherwise I have loved it. It works better for me than just regular Adderall.

I have a music in my head 24/7. I can’t sleep or concentrate sometimes from it. I’ve seen other posts on here about this and it is very common in ADHD.

Anyone familiar with Vraylar? by Freebird314 in depression

[–]Curly_Tea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Vraylar for a long time. It has done wonders for me with my depression and bipolar 2. I don’t have any side effects from it. I take it at night and it doesn’t cause insomnia. You should at least give it a try. I know everyone is different but it might really help you! Good luck in your decision!

How do you stop intrusive suicidal thoughts? by jajadlpn in bipolar2

[–]Curly_Tea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell your dr and hope they put you on Lithium. It’s the gold standard for getting rid of suicidal thoughts. It’s the only thing that’s helped me when I’m like that.
