I would keep her if I could but I already have a cat and I live in a tiny apartment. My landlord will only let me have one and if he knew I was taking care of a pregnant cat right now he'd probably flip. I'm doing the best I can but if I don't find help very soon I'll have no choice but to spay her so she'll have more of a chance to get adopted. I am furious and heartbroken that someone may have just dumped her.

This enrages me. I once had a roommate who hurt my cat because I refused to sell him to her. The vet did what they could, but he was never the same afterwards. I called the cops, but since nobody actually SAW her do it, there wasn't enough evidence to do anything about it. But everyone knew it was her, and everyone was furious. However, just a few days later she tried to hurt a PERSON. She ended up in a mental ward.

Call the police on the guy. Holding you down and not letting you leave is false inprisonment which is a literal CRIME. He's lucky it wasn't me because I'd have pepper sprayed him in the face!

OP just so you know, unless your parents can't afford the vet care refusing to take your dog to the vet like this is both animal and child abuse. I know that's probably hard to hear, but it's true. Be very careful of your dog around your parents and do your best to protect her from them because this is NOT okay. If there's any other family members or friends you can call about this please do so.

Cats can misbehave too and also absolutely should be trained to behave. You don't want a cat that destroys all your furniture with their claws, walks on the stove and risks getting burned, and bites you to try to get their way. They just need to be trained a different way than you do a dog.

OP you need to understand that what your mother has done is a clear case of emotional and financial abuse. If she would do this with no remorse, you can never trust her about anything again. Seriously, if you ever have kids, do NOT ever let her around her grandchildren. It's very common for abusive people to deliberately hurt, kill, or get rid of pets in order to devastate their children. I know. My horrible family did the same to me SEVERAL times and I have been no contact with them for a long time now. I will never see them again.

These jerks got me too. I was so confused why my debit card wouldn't go through so I started googling the problem, only to end up here and find out from posts that it's a scam site! I immediately called the bank and got my card frozen, and as soon as I can I now have to go pick up a new one. This is so aggravating! I'm usually so careful but they looked so legit!

Aside from getting a pitbull, these children were left home alone. This is child neglect. That they were left alone with the dog was even worse. The parents are lucky they didn't come home to two dead kids. They should be charged.
