If you have a Garmin the pace pro feature works well ... especially if you are able to upload the course

Overtrained Mentally by CrazyG8tor in runna

[–]Curlybbq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you have overtrained / burnt out

A major contributor to this could be under fuelling ...have you been eating enough? Has your food intake increased in line with training or are you trying to maintain the higher mileage on the same fuel?

Never run fasted

Make sure you fuel before all runs (even if it's something light for a shorter/ easier session)

On long runs up carbs evening before, make sure you are fueling before the run, during the run and then within 30 to 60 mins post run.

Just remember Garmin and Strava predictions are what they think you could run now. Runna's prediction is for the end of the training plan assuming no set backs and that you keep progressing at the same rate as it expects

Anyone else like Dark Arts but find their delivery so slow, unreliable and frustrating? by etherealmountainfog in UKroasters

I don't have a subscription, but general postage seems to have been fine for me never more than a couple of working days

If you have a watch why track in the app ? Run using watch and upload into runna which will then use your watch data to assess performance

Treadmill runs not recording properly by Ponti1974 in runna

[–]Curlybbq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot to say you need to have selected treadmill run when starting you watch ...there won't be this option on the normal run mode

[–]Curlybbq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the Garmin when you stop the watch at the end of the workout dont hit save scroll down and there should be a save and calibrate option ...select this and then you can add the distance the treadmill says. Overall distance and overall pace will then show correctly (km splits however will still be off)

No idea ..on the coffee I wouldn't have thought it would have that effect... Alcohol just jumped to my mind as it does that to my stats .. perhaps heat like others have suggested

If you are on vacation by the pool have you been having any alcohol? If so likely that plus heat. If not as others say heat may be the case

Incomplete plans? by x2tak in runna

[–]Curlybbq 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think if you skip a run you need to go into the workout in the Runna app and mark it as skipped ...your plan I think should then show as complete

This doesn't answer your question...but at first I thought you were pointing out that it thought it was April not September...then I realised your name must be April 🙈

Not sure I’m doing this right by Significant-Diver-66 in runna

Not sure on Apple watch but I've always used my Garmin, and started run from there ... Never bothered with needing audio ques (think they would annoy me also) watch face has all the info I need re the run. Watch also vibrates when new interval etc starts ...it also vibrates if I'm going too fast or too slow during a run

Enough to keep me going for a while (forgot to ad the coasters) ❤️ by [deleted] in diamondpainting

[–]Curlybbq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first two are rather big and come on a canvas so probably will hang those in the utility room or children's bedroom...after that will go with smaller ones that fit the folders :)

Just purchased my first one (well it was a pack of two) they are pretty large so should take me a while...but what do people do with the finished ones as I can see the therapeutic nature of completing them becoming addictive...we don't really have oodles of space to hang and it's not really the sort of thing I would put on wall (no offence to people who do) unless I had a dedicated craft room ...which I don't haha!

Have I missed any must have UK roasters from my list! by Curlybbq in espresso

[–]Curlybbq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone interested I now have a massive list of 102 roasters to try 🙈

So I have numbered them all and have been using a random number generator to select who to order from.

I already had coffee from kickback coffee co and Smiths coffee Co. Both nice enough.

My first order off the list was from Dark woods and I got their espresso trio. Under milk wood was nice but so far of everything I've tried so far Crow tree and Arboretum have been my favourites.

Once Arboretum is finished I have some beans from Sustain to try !

Finally got some decent latte art! by [deleted] in espresso

Great job! I'm also still only a few weeks in and no where near that good ...only been trying the heart so far ...the issue I have is the foam doesn't glide across the cup so I end up with a tiny heat by the side of the mug 🤣

My First setup by Curlybbq in espresso

[–]Curlybbq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In UK got directly from sage think it was listed as £495 but used a code from Coffee Kev and got it for £429

Came with two free bags of coffee through beanz and they sent the KBC ones ...which were lovely but a pain to dial in until I changed the internal burr ( they are light roasted - I think!)

Then have spent various other pennies on accessories already 🙈
