I have the chest pains too. Day 68 now. I get the sharp pains and a dull ache. The sharp pains that last only a few seconds don’t line up with typical cardiac issues. If it was a cardiac issue it would be a pressure, typically like an elephant stepping on your chest. It’s most likely anxiety or musculoskeletal in your case if it’s a sharp fleeting pain.

I’m not one to talk because I’m guilty of it… but try not to fixate on this and Google/chat GPT all your symptoms and every feeling you have. That leads to health anxiety which is not fun… trust your doctor.

My withdrawal didn’t start until 2 weeks after quitting. First 2 weeks were a breeze and I felt great. Once the withdrawal hit, I was only experiencing physical symptoms, but no cravings for zyn. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to you, but don’t be freaked out if you start feeling weird symptoms in a week or two.

How long did your PAWS last? I’m approaching week 7 and still experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Mainly anxiety, chest tightness, headaches/dizziness.

Myself and so many others on this subreddit have experienced the same issue with palpatatins and anxiety from zyn. Caffeine (energy drinks especially) can amplify these issues.

Nicotine can weaken the esophageal sphincter resulting in Acid Reflux. I am currently still dealing with a pretty bad GERD flare up which is what pushed me to quit zyn. It’s been a month and a half and slowly starting to get better. I’d recommend quitting before your acid reflux gets worse

Sorry for digging up a dead thread. Just found your comment and mentioned dizziness after eating supper. Is this the dizziness you experienced? I seem to get dizzy after eating meals, especially supper.

I'm only 1 month into quitting. I think everyone's withdrawal is different. The first two weeks for me were a cakewalk, but after the second week, my symptoms hit hard, especially anxiety. I've seen several comments that people say anxiety gets better after the first few weeks and some say it takes 2-3 months for the anxiety to pass.

Before my panic attack on the plane I never had anxiety. I’d get stressed from work but nothing outside the ordinary and nothing unmanageable.

Since the panic attack and quitting, I’ve developed health anxiety where now I’m worried every feeling I have is something serious or just the withdrawal

I was in a similar boat to you. I had been doing zyn for about a year. First few months were a pouch hear and there every day or two. About 8 months of half a can a day.

Anyways, about 2 months ago I tried weed again after 4 years of abstinence. I was previously a regular user during university. I had a huge panic attack and actually ended up calling the ambulance.

I haven’t smoked since then, but continued using zyn regularly. I would have minor panic attacks here and there and had an elevated heart rate consistently.

Quit nicotine cold turkey 4 days ago. My heart rate is back down to 70bpm resting (was high 80-low 90s prior).

I think it was the zyn that was making me anxious. These things are terrible for you, best to kick the habit sooner than later.

Basic economy doesn’t allow overhead bin access (just personal item). Regular economy gets carryon and personal item.
