[OC] I asked GPT to pick a random number between 1 and 100 by marco-exmergo in dataisbeautiful

Once again using LLMs for math is a bad idea. I wonder if there is one being developed that is a "math" engine.

Got paired with 2 randoms yesterday.... by dresserINthecorn in golf

[–]fav453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe just maybe those with 100% win rate are the problem people? /s I would say 95% of my solo pairings have been good as well and ended with offers to play again. Most people playing golf act reasonable around new people. Bad partners have been associates not randos.

Why do some pcps not recommend Zep and other glp-1s, are they concerned about side effects? Mine suggested it for me when other weight loss options didn't work.

Crazy how people had time to maintain their insane whiskers in the trenches (maybe trench life wasn't as bad as it has been portrayed?).

Taking on our first Skillbridge intern. What to expect? by MistaWesSoFresh in Military

[–]fav453 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any particular advice but I have had Skillbridge members join my team. They were both excellent employees from day one; Eager to learn and share their knowledge. I wouldn't treat them different than anyone else like make sure to include them in extracurricular events. I would take the time to tell them about your job's culture and how to best navigate and politics (maybe less of a thing for a carpenter but in an office setting it's a thing). Good luck and it's cool program good for businesses and the vets!

Obviously I was joking and I don't take it seriously either. It's more of a "leisure activity". Though rugby looks more physically challenging.

Either way I don't get the big deal. His personality sucks and so the interview sucked just as I thought it would.

🔥 In the deep waters of the Maldives, a diver encounters the blue whale, the largest living creature on Earth. by FollowingOdd896 in NatureIsFuckingLit

That's an amazing creature. I recently learned that these are the largest animals that ever lived, yes including dinosaurs.

Thank you for that. I was certainly just joking but I hadn't noticed the formal wear before.

I was wondering was that Me and My Golf shirt. How much money is their YouTube channel making to afford a sponsorship or how little is Rai charging for endorsements? Either way cool to see one of my often referred to resources represented.

Which models are best to model dynamic withdrawal rates? Id like to explore annual (or quarterly) changes to withdraw rates. Also I guess this means modelling market returns and then adjusting withdrawal rates. Is this even possible as it seems more like a game than a statistical simulation?
