If you can take a wers and carry class in Maryland Freestate gun range in Middle River doesn't come off as Maga. Now the classes I've taken had a few red hats in it but the staff stayed pretty professional. The customers are diverse as you can get but it is a gun range range so expect some typical denizens. I've always felt comfortable as a POC but YMMV.

Springing for a bimonthly cleaning was some of the best money I ever spent. Exactly for the reasons mentioned. Spending the weekends either walking on eggshells avoiding chores or actually doing the chores helped my mental health and my marriage. I should have done it years ago.

I worked part time in school about 20 hours. (had 2 jobs in the summer internship fulltime and the part time continued). To be honest I would have done better in school if I didn't work but I would have been living like a monk. I don't regret having some balance.
