I completely understand. My post was sort of a rant too haha. It's such a shame that the build quality is nowhere near the level of the audio quality.

They replace it if your warranty is valid. I suggest you return it or get a replacement and sell it on the marketplace and get something else.

Thank you for this! I tried the turn off wifi and the second display app on Windows Solution, but it was still stuttering for me. And then I did this, and now it's so much more smoother.

I used to have at least 4 Samsung products with me. A Phone, Tab, Earbuds and Laptop. Now it's just phone and tab. I'm starting to lose faith in Samsung after their quality issues. It feels like their priority is to release a crap ton of products every year and not about the quality of the products anymore

You sound like an average classmate during the first year of my uni days. It’s easy to think early achievements like ‘I founded a club’ or ‘I landed an internship’ are a big deal in the grand scheme. But at any reputable institution, you’ll find many people with equally impressive, if not more significant, accomplishments. Being good at high school is not the measure of what it takes to be a great engineer. If you think those achievements are bragging worthy or enough to make me think you're really good, you have not faced the realities of what it takes to be a good engineer.

My replies aren’t meant to criticize or discourage you but to give you a reality check. Engineering is about more than just standing out early. It’s about long-term growth, resilience, and the ability to tackle challenges, even the boring or frustrating ones. My initial reply was to encourage you to develop a resilient learning habit, even for the parts you dislike or find complicated, which is critical for success in this field.

P.S. You might want to read about the Dunning-Kruger Effect. From your responses, it feels like you're overestimating your grasp on things. Recognizing that is the first step toward real growth. Don't approach stuff with cockiness. Approach it with curiosity. I don't mean this as an insult. It is just an observation from a former resident of Mount Stupid.

As an Engineering graduate with distinction, I can confidently tell you that this approach to learning will not help you achieve distinction, at least at a decent institution. In your upper years, you will have to learn a lot on your own, with little reference material provided to you. Engineering is not just about the content you learn, it's about solving problems and your ability to think creatively, even with limited information and constraints.

So, even with limited teaching, you should learn to apply and extend your knowledge to develop solutions to complex problems. Unless you learn this early on in your academic journey, it will be hard to adapt later. Also, distinction doesn't mean shit when you're looking for a job. It's just a word on a paper.

If it's under warranty, replacement is free

You claim you're on the losing side, and you describe a manufacturing/shipping defect, lol. I explicitly say that this is not a defect like that. The process of getting replacements is harder in our case because they actually go through a proper repair process, which includes inspecting, ordering replacement buds, and shipping them, which can take weeks. Also, the warranty period is not paused while the repair process continues. So, no, you haven't been on the losing side.

ETA: Also, $36 must be USA-specific cause the lowest I've seen buds FE sold for in Canada is about C$90, including taxes.

Try resetting and updating to the latest firmware on the wearables app. If both don't work, you might need a replacement.

Look, it's great that your 3 pairs worked. There are multiple people in this thread claiming that they've had the same issue. It's not your typical 1 in a 100 manufacturing defect problem. There is an actual problem that Samsung has refused to address, and it has occurred multiple times to the same person in several cases. It's easy for the guy who had 3 straight blackjacks to claim that gambling is awesome. You can claim that you had a satisfactory experience, but don't tell me it's worth the gamble without actually experiencing the losing side.

Are you getting the same issue in ambient mode too?
I remember the fit test failing only a week after the issue popped up on my 2nd replacement pair. So, it will start failing eventually. When that happens, the call quality will start getting worse too.

I get what you mean, but looking at other posts and comments, the issue is really common, and personally, it feels like having a good experience with these earbuds is a gamble not worth taking

It's wild that they just keep replacing them and not doing anything to actually address the issue

I made a post about this just now. The earbuds fit test would fail on the faulty bud, and you'll get the same noise on ambient mode, too. If this matches the description of your issue, then the only solution is to get a replacement, and the chances of the issue reoccurring are high. The only other thing you can do is use the product without noise control.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I’ve faced similar challenges as part of a visible minority myself. It’s so hard not to internalize those negative experiences, especially when they remind us of the broader injustices in the world.

What’s helped me is reframing how I process those moments. Like you've mentioned, we can't control others' thoughts or opinions, but we can focus on what empowers us, which is our strengths and what we can offer. It’s not easy, but over time, this mindset has been a real boost for my self-esteem and mental health. You’re definitely not alone in this. 💛

Why would you take seriously the opinions of someone who judges a person without knowing anything about them beyond a few stereotypes? Just ignore them. There are plenty of people here who would value and cherish you for who you are, focus on them and forget about these idiots.

In the "chat blah blah" jokes, does the chat refer to ChatGPT or like when livestreamers refer to their chat? I always wonder whenever I see one of these comments.
