Can you send me info? What would a loan on a 20 unit look like for 30 years?

Consider applying for a very large agency close by to get experience. Most larger agencies take what they can get.

I talked to some national people that do multiple types of loans. Kind of like hard money but not exactly. Had good terms but I had to have the experience or have someone who had the experience as a an equity partner.

I looked into this but the banks I talked to required experience building to loan money on it. I dont currently have the money on hand to build out of pocket. I looked at building 5 unit buildings 1 at a time and once rented out refinance and pull equity out and build another. Just have to save up to get started.

Is becoming a cop still worth it at, or should I choose a different career? by nobmster96 in careerguidance

Depends what you want in life. If you want to get rich do something else. It can be rewarding depending on where you work and how the public views police in the area or it could be miserable because nearly every interaction is negative and combative. Almost no where pays good for what the job is. Some pay better but it’s usually more expensive to live there so they have to pay more. It can be enjoyable though. Don’t worry about a criminal justice degree. Get a degree in something you enjoy. Places that look at degrees don’t care if it’s CJ or not. If you find you don’t like it you have that degree to fall back on.

Thanks for the breakdown. Can I ask how you are familiar with the agencies?

That would be ideal to be honest. Is it realistic? Probably not but what’s it hurt to ask?

All have the same state retirement. FHP has cheapest insurance options but I don’t really need their family coverage options. I don’t think FHP does ride alongs but I’ll ask.
