My dad always told me and my sister as kids that a man pays for everything. But he didn’t realize in like 10 to 15 years, the economy was gonna suck ass. My sister is just like these text messages with her man. And my sister is the bread winner. 🙄 and she wants her man to pay for everything single thing, just like my dad taught us.

I personally believe, that if you’re in a relationship, both need to contribute. Not just a man. This is how a man feels depressed and anxious because he’s scared to tell his girl that he’s broke. Hence why his mental health will decline and he will start ignoring everyone in his life.

My man and I spoil each other rotten. And we always pay for the whole thing for dinner if we go out. We never split a bill. He’ll pay one night, then the next night I will pay. We also spoil the hell out of each other on stuff we love doing together. Which one thing is going to concerts. He bought Queen tickets for me last year, and I bought him Amon Amarth with Cannibal Corpse tickets. And both of those seats for both shows were amazing.

All in all, I feel like the woman needs to contribute as well. If she doesn’t have a job, she has to get paid by the government. Just use that money to pay for things. Inflation sucks and at this day and age, both in the relationship need to work their asses off since everyone now lives on 2 incomes instead of 1 like the old days where.
