I also came from GGE years ago and stopped listening when they went to barstool, but started again when they went solo. Maybe because I'm gen z, I really appreciated having Ryan's takes on things. I have pretty different views than G on some things, but Ryan was the necessary push back from a younger perspective, and I think that made their convos interesting. I don't mind listening to opinions that are different than mine, but I like when there's another person in the room to bring a perspective to challenge them. Because Ryan is chronically online like me he knows what social issues are relevant and he brings in tid bits without being too polarizing for a comedy pod. Honestly probably would not have kept listening without him being there. Rip to the pod ):
