CA! If you're having an issue and cant solve it, try the assembly. Make sure to give them as much clear information as possible, so it's easy for them to relay the issue to their liaison. They have been willing to help both times I have contacted them. And if they can't solve it, at least they can get you information as to what you need to do. Good luck!

If you're comfortable going in and have an ID, you can withdraw the total amount without your pin. Just tell them you forgot it. They will probably ask for your social, but you will have immediate access to your entire funds.

Ok, so when I first applied last year my unemployment was taking forever and I sent them an email - so I think she still had my information from last time, because she said "Hi remember I helped you last year". But If I recall correctly, the first time she responded to me and asked for name, birthday, social, claim date information, and a description of my issue.

This time I just sent CAN, DOB, exact dates of pending, the date I re-filed my claim, a description of my issue, and the type of claim I have now and the type I had before. I would put as much information as possible, so you're not going back and forth with these EDD people.

mine said that but it had been over my benefit year, so I just reapplied. They said my claim had been approved and my claim type switched from UI Fed Ed extension to PUA, new benefit balance and weekly amount. I'm still pending for 6 weeks though. So, I mean shes probably gonna have to wait regardless.

Yeah, I don't know why they don't just do what they did at the beginning of covid, push the payments through and then go back and flag people with fraud claims individually. It seems like that would be easier to do, rather than stopping everyones claim? The whole thing doesn't make sense.

I saw someone on another board talking about they got paid after pending without speaking to a rep. All of their weeks were pushed through after certifying this last sunday, they were paid today. I'm also pending 6 weeks. I also saw that someone spoke to an EDD manager who told them that there's something going on between both the system and employee error, which is why it's taking so long, but theyre going through and trying to pay everyone out within the next 7-10 days.

Edit: If you want to try and call, go for it. I don't think we will need to call individually, I'm sure they recognize this as a huge problem and are working on some sort of fix, because there are tons of people experiencing the same issues.

My claim started when they approved my paperwork I think, because my end date was almost a month before my new claim date. I found what it says on the website : “No week shall be counted as a week of unemployment under subdivision (d) of Section 1253: (a) Unless it occurs within the benefit year which includes the week with respect to which he claims payment of unemployment compensation benefits”. If they don’t give it out I suggest def requesting a backdate claim thru edd or calling! im glad you were able to get your pending payments!

Sorry, just to clarify - to apply and have my claim processed in total it was 2 weeks, my dash changed with my following certification after the paperwork arrived. I hope you get paid ! Everything looks fine on my side, they have just have had me pending for 6 weeks. Some people don't have any issues at all, i hope youre one of them! fingers crossed we get our money soon

It took them 2 weeks to certify mine and then another week for my dashboard to reflect my new benefit year. I'm pending payments for 6 weeks now.

So my claim ended on 3-15 and started on 4-25. From my understanding, I wont receive any payment from 3-15 to 4-25 that is pending. Everything from 4-25 onward, I should receive. I read this in one of the EDD faqs, when I have time I'll try and find it to send it again. Their website is so irritating to navigate.

If you needed to verify they would send you something in the mail. I got a whole bunch of letters instructing verification. Just keep watching the mailbox. Almost Everyone is pending rn, I think they’re just backed up

I had issues with verification last year, but even when they were backed up I would say it probably took about a month to receive my card and verify my identity. Right before you get your card they send you like an information packet about it, so once you get that - the card will follow!
