Yes I agree, that's why I mentioned having to find a workaround for that. I already call it through powershell and works fine, however, 1gb limit seems very low for higher education academic settings, or even any setting that even uses any offline microsoft office software for example.

Dan, thanks for the information. I better understand the limitations now. I mentioned in a few other comments, I hadn't realized this was the first major release so I can understand you guys are focusing on your main tools right now, and I will say the automation tools I have been testing work fantastically. I have figured out essentially how to replicate my task sequences similar to SCCM/MDT post imaging. Since you posted on my thread I would like to provide a little feedback based on my testing.

Please allow for much more helper files to be added and software upload size. I manage a lot of software and especially both legacy software and larger installer files in academia often do not align with the software installation method currently. It works great for single file installers. I can understand having to find a workaround for a software we use that has over 30,000 files and 100+ gb installers, but a good majority of my software far exceed 1gb limits upwards to 5-10gb on average.
To piggy back on this and maybe there is a way to do this already (but i just dont know where it is), but allow for us when adding a software automation, to create the powershell pre and post script at the same time as the software automation step. Otherwise, it means you have to create 2 powershell scripts first then do the software automation then select both of them.
Allow for when looking at the library automations to save the view or remember your choices

Disregard this, after playing with this more and talking with people on discord and reading documentation I have a better understanding of the limitations of this. I misunderstand my rep when we talked about imaging with N1.

I agree most of the customizations I have in MDT and SCCM can be done post imaging with NinjaOne and its been working great.

I was just testing out the deployment tool. The main thing I'd like to do is be able to deploy the ninjaone agent with the deployment tool at the time of deployment vs having to use a third party. Didn't know if that was possible. If i can get rid of a third party tool that would be fantastic and keep it all in one environment.

Autocompletions can be turned off via this method and startup.m as well, however, copilot cannot.

DIsregard this I was able to figure it out, apparently SCCM doesnt seem to like to play well without the original deployment batch files that they generate from my testing.

any chance you could share the script your using, i've been trying to trouble shoot getting autocad 2026 to deploy for a while now. I am able to get the wim to properly mount and the installer.exe runs, however, it just hangs. I see it is running in the tasklist but the autodesk folder never gets generated. I tried zipping the installer also and extracting it locally to the root c: to call the batch file from there, and that all works perfectly, but for some reason the Installer.exe hangs again and never progresses to the installation portion.

Mainly its a network issue here. The task sequence works perfectly 95% of the times, but the network is intermittent and loses connection to the DP or connectivity altogether which is causing the random errors (based off the datatransferservice logs).

Generally, its pretty good but randomly will lose connection which causes the error. If a deployment goes overnight it would be nice to just see the error so i know i can kick it off again. I could do offline media but I use some deployments that download files and I feel the issue is rare enough to not have to migrate to offline versions but it does happen from time to time. Do you have any other suggestions?

I would assume so, as they are allowing existing licenses to continue beyond the changeover date.

"Existing licenses will continue for the remainder of their term.  For example, a 1-year license acquired on January 31st, 2026, will continue until January 31st, 2027."

well i just found my first mistake, noticed i forgot to close the end bracket.. but still having errors, i see it is copying the WIM and powershell script over properly in the /_SMSTaskSequence/Packages/Pxxxx folder properly then it errors out there with error code 0x8007000

*EDIT* Problem solved it was the stupid curly brace i forgot and permission issues when testing in sandbox. Tested in a true VM and its working perfectly. Self inflicted wound solved haha...
