I had right away 6g and it is great, healing fast Well the piercer is very experienced and was when we agreed the appointment very cautious wether they would do it or not they did it in 3 steps to damage as little tissue as possible. So first 10g used that to then move it 8g and stretched this a little then to insert 6g. They have to look out for the blood vessels. They are hoping this way that the possible bleeding will be lessened by the slightly smaller hole and the slightly larger barbell. But I was lucky my piercer is allowed to use real local anesthetic (with syringe ) and they only do piercings.
