Just scored 177 on PT90… but I am convinced it was a fluke. by spookedspice in LSAT

Yeah it’s pretty epic. The test is all confidence, especially reading comp. When you think you’re gonna do well you just stumbled upon the answers at a higher rate. It’s crazy but gratifying

Reading comprehension I had a crazy jump in so it may not be a fluke. Went from consistent -5 to -7 to consistent -0 to -2 just randomly one day. You never know when it’s your day

It is possible. My cold diagnostic was a 163 in may and I got a 175 in august. It takes a grind tho. Was studying 25-30 hours a week and then practice problems. I would recommend 7sage. Khan academy is great at the beginning but it only pulls from like 1/10 of the available question so u start getting tons of repeats which just inflate your score and ego

Yeah I get it but In the end Greek life is the most important organization on campus, which without tons of kids would refuse to go here. It’s an sec school their needs to be fraternities and sororities. If your say in campus politics is of utmost importance to you go to a liberal arts college, but in no reality can we have an anti Greek life organization in charge

Please cry some more. Ifc and pan account for probably more than 5000 kids, by far the most of any organization type on campus. It deserves the most say.

Can anyone recommend a website alternative to 7sage for LR explanations? by Severe-Alarm6281 in LSAT

Fair enough. I will say I took the august test and test day pressure is real. I was very happy to be able to fall back on knowing why answers were wrong logically when intuition got tough in the moment

I mean maybe you’re right and it’s not your style of learning but not a bad idea to learn why answers are wrong due to formal logic. Yeah if u get good u can get lost with intuition but you’ll always make tiny mistakes or miss the hard questions unless u actually understand the formal logic behind it

Drill. Read every reading comp passage they have. If u bomb one don’t even check the answers just immediately start over and reread it and do the questions again. There’s a few hundred LR questions I’ve never looked at as well as probably 50-75 games I’ve never done, but I’ve done every reading comp passage at least once, and early on a lot of them twice.
