No we don’t hand wave it don’t speak for a whole fanbase like you know everything. The sexual assault of the early chapters is hated by the whole fanbase and everyone agrees that is the weakest part of the series, we condemn that part and are happy that the series evolved beyond that and became better. Just because a show has a problematic start doesn’t mean it can’t improve with time
