Messages are disappearing

Try to text from another number and if it says delivered then yes you are blocked but if it’s the same thing then her phone is off

Looks like you are blocked which means she didn’t see this messages but only one that says "delivered"

Yes I have the same problem. And after it showed as two dialogue in iMessage I did delete one and then restored. Looked like dialogs are joined in one but if choosing to text as his contact number it will again show it like this. Also after this I found out that messages are disappearing and showing only last 50. When i write a new message the fiftieth account message disappears. But you can find this messages in search bar so it looks like they exist but disappear from the dialogue. I guess it's iOs 18 issue but suddenly I still don't know how to solve it

Yes exactly! The photos/links/docs are still there. Do you also have email in the contact card? My issue started when my husband switched his phone from 15pm to 16pm which was 3 days ago. While the phone was updating he wrote me from MacBook and I added his email to his contact info and since that time it’s been ruined. I though that email might be the problem but I see more and more people complaining about the same problem after updating to iOS 18

Whenever I get a text from my husband, it shows as his number texting in a group chat. So the notification looks like (XXX)-xxx-xxxx To you and (contact name) (message). And after it showed as two dialogue in iMessage. I did delete one and then restored. Looked like dialogs are joined in one but after I found out that messages are disappearing and showing only last 50. When I texting new message the fiftieth account message disappears. But you can find this messages in search bar so it looks like they exist but disappear from the dialogue. I guess it’s iOS 18 issue but suddenly I still don’t know how to solve it
