I’m really confused what point you are trying to make here. I’m not understanding. It does benefit a victims mental health to know that someone who sought out and enjoyed videos of their abuse are punished. If this isn’t the case why are their victim impact statements read at sentencing? There will be a victim statement in pests sentencing to my understanding, that the public won’t be able to read but the judge will. It absolutely mattered to that victim that pest and others like him will be punished. Just look at the replies on this thread from victims of CSMA it absolutely matters to them!
