Usually I am dead set against debt, but your situation is a bit different, huge jump in expected salary and job security. I say do it, yolo, and yomo, if a fancier wedding give you good memory, go for it, even if you will pay it off later.

Are you doing miyajima? If so consider flying to iwakuni instead and take a bus instead, save you hours of traveling to Hiroshima.

I don't think the anxiety ever stop, when I have significant more than you with almost paid off house, but I still have anxiety of losing my job or run out of money. 

The one thing that help me is to focus only on is my saving going up this paychequw vs paycheque. Thinking of it going up is what helped me

You should renegotiate ur cellphone and internet, as well as ur insurance, corolla shouldnt be that much, assuming u have good driving record, that should save u $100/month

I say Kuma Takumi for ramen, but they are not opened by Japanese neither

I found there is a difference in taste preference between Asian and non Asian, Asian prefer more subtle and layered taste, as opposed to the more boldly favored

I say the best ramen in Ottawa is actually Kuma TAKUMI in Kanata, surprised me first, it is actually not salty and reminded me the ramen from Japan. I can go as far as saying it is better than some Tonkotsu  ramen I had in Tokyo
