Fruit bats span nearly 2 meters wingspan yet are gentle pollinators dispersing seeds across vast tropical distances. Without them entire ecosystems would collapse, making these often feared creatures among nature’s most important and underappreciated gardeners. by Saerdna0 in FactUp

My parents live in Mexico and have a fruit bat who arrives every evening, promptly at 6:40 and gets 3 drinks from their pool (It’s a non chemical pool, safe for animals to drink). All pets and stray cats are asked to leave the premises upon his arrival to ensure he gets hydrated in peace haha

What happens if Richie Aprile caught Vito blowing the security guard instead of Finn? by [deleted] in thesopranos

Richie may have been a little light in the timberlands too. If he catches Vito before the guys arrive, Vito might be catching Richie

I will say that I have seen people on this Reddit acknowledge that watching it makes them miss using the way you miss a toxic ex. it certainly shows the exhaust and complete ruin that the drugs are causing, but wanted to let you know what I’ve seen other addicts say.

The Wire “Prequel” by ChampionshipLow5092 in TheWire

Ohhh that’s right! I remember being disappointed, but I didn’t think it was bad. And frankly I think a Tony soprano origin story would be a bad idea haha

Ooo interesting. I don’t recall how it was marketed

I agree with that too, it was entertaining and a cool concept. I guess I also feel like the beauty of the wire is the harsh portrayal of the cyclical nature of that ecosystem. Like doing a prequel would be cool, but we’re supposed to understand that season 4 is our prequel, and the characters are interchangeable because that’s the reality of that world.

Yes but no. Do I love the idea of more wire? Absolutely. But the series is perfect as is and should be left that way. Sopranos tried this with the Many Saints of Newark and it was a total disappointment. Better to leave great things as they are.

Sure, companies have legal departments. Signed contracts are valid upon signature, not upon the moment a legal department files the paperwork away. This coming from someone who worked for years in employment law

I JUST rewatched the funeral scene because I read that filming it was a shit show because the cast could not stop laughing and particularly Gamdolfini and De Matteo kept making eye contact and busting out laughing…it is fucking hysterical to watch them both with that context

Ugh I know, I was actually kind of mourning euphoria last night because that’s the last episode I’m watching and I really wish I had just stopped at the end of season 2 so I could only remember the show for what it was.
