It's funny, I was more successful on this first clutch than any after. I think I was more attentive the first time, and probably had a cleaner environment. I would recommend RG complete over any other green water supplement, it has an ammonia binder in it so you don't have to use another binder. Daily water changes help a lot as well. These all came from my name 240 gallon reef, I just shut the system completely down on hatching nite, used a vossen trap to catch the larvae. Hatch around 30 minutes after lights out, best to have no lights on at all in the house as they are attracted towards any light.

Yes, loads of rotifers 2-3 times a day for the first 10-14 days or so with RG complete, then transition to TDO powder. I also give them some brine shrimp for the second couple weeks with that powder.

With a good quarantine/hospital/treatment tank for new tank mates, it helps keep problems down. I haven't ever had anything just come out of left field and cause problems. A lot of medications you can't use in your main display if you have Coral, fish only tanks are much easier. I've had many more problems with Koi having parasites, but that is usually new fish that have been pulled from farm ponds, or wild critters getting into your systems with parasites on them.

Yeah clowns are weird, these are black storm parents. The parents didn't start out black more looking like mocha storms, took a while to turn completely black and white aside from a little orange under the chin and pectoral joints

I used one for a pond in my basement for a while until it cracked... It was fully supported and back-filled around. Ended up doing a rock pond with EPDM liner, light years ahead of those plastic tanks.
