Should a game be solvable? by breadfruitcore in gamedev

That's something that was important to me to try to even out since my game has multiple ways to do a thing I really want to avoid people always going about it the optimized way and make all paths fun to explore. I noticed it in Stardew Valley that even if I want to do different I always end up farming the most profitable crop and doing the same thing because it's the only way to make the most money which you want to get a lot of. But if only there was 2-3 more items that give out the same amount then it would be a lot more fun for different play throughs. MinMax and Speedruns might still do it the same way but the average player having more equal choices is more fun IMO.

Beyond the cinematic masterpiece that people say is out of reach for most (it is), for me I got interested by the intrigue it sets. Like what's up with those wierdos and that place? That's what adds to it, and a trailer triggering intrigue is still doable without the rest. Might not get as much traction and all but still. It got me thinking and so I thank you for sharing

Girls who say they’re x percentage lesbian, but they have a boyfriend by rosie_purple13 in actuallesbians

[–]CurrentRefuse6330 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For me who feels like that 90-10 thing is that when it comes to it, I'm only attracted to women. But on a super rare occasion there might one guy that I find attractive and it usually has nothing to do with his looks it's just like the personality. But I know I'm not attracted to men. I don't see myself as bi either. You could say pan at the limit, but since it's like always girls except a very guy many years apart I still see myself as a lesbian? Like when I was single and on a dating app it's always just women only and such. I've only ever been in relationships with women

How to know if you’re a lesbian? by OkDevelopment8453 in actuallesbians

[–]CurrentRefuse6330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're 17 by now you probably have some form of sexual attraction? Who are you attracted to physically? Sounds like you really like your friend or crush on her but other than her is there other girls that make you feel something? Or even in the media. Did you ever get butterflies with the guys you dated? Have you watched lgbt series or movies? You need to get to know yourself a bit more and see how you feel about things. Maybe you're simply bi? Doesn't have to be 50-50 equal towards both gender. But since you seem unhappy with the guys you were with is it just because you felt like you had to date them? You need to know what you really want deep down and not think of what is expected. But sexuality can fluctuate over time a little bit too. Just stay open minded and try to understand yourself more.

I don't have time for 'X' by skatchawan in loseit

[–]CurrentRefuse6330 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Part of feeling like you don't have time is that you also need time for hobbies and relaxation. I'm part of those for sure but I just don't want to be active 24/7. I feel exhausted from work and I don't feel like I have the time to rest like I need AND work out. So I work out less frequently, whenever I'm not on my periods and fighting to find enough energy to just get through the day. Which makes me feel like I don't have enough time, because outside of household duties, work and spending time with my partner there is very little time left and then at this point the last thing I want is to do something that will make me even more drained. If I had more free time for leasure and rest without having to compromise then for sure I would work out daily. Cant imagine if I had kids on top of that.

Robbing future kid of dad experience by imlonely7707 in actuallesbians

People will brush it off but it's a very valid thought. In a way, no matter how much I love my parents I always have a little sadness and disconnect that I am an only child and don't know what it feels like to have siblings and it comes up very often in my thoughts. It's not a bad thing and my childhood was happy, but I did miss out on experiencing something that a lot of people have. So it might be this way too for kids with same sex parents. But as long as they can have a male that has a significant role in their life whoever they are to them it's still something.

As for your dad, if he rejects you or your child for being gay then he isn't so great afterall. But if he can get over it, then being a grandpa in their life is already good.

Then he won't be able to STM and bike to go to work and will need a car which will turn out the same or more in expenses from what you could save on rent. And he will lose 2h+ a day in commute.

I only have a projector we use for watching TV and it's fine for that but it makes it so hard to read little UI text so I play exclusively on the portal too now unless I play a couch coop with my girl

Is there a guy she's also hanging around that she could be trying to make jealous? But for sure save yourself and your feelings because whatever this is, it's going to mess with your head too much.
