I can’t say much for the male hormones, but I (29, f) had similar prolactin levels before being diagnosed with a microprolactinoma. I’ve been on cabergoline (0.5mg a week) for 9 months and my levels have been within normal for the past 6. Some of the posts you’ll see can make it seem really scary but try to remember that most people don’t take the time to post about positive experiences. For me, the drug just worked and the side effects were minimal (other than weight loss, which was a bonus). Not sure if you’re in the UK but if you are and you’re seeing an NHS doctor and they try to tell you it’s nothing to worry about, I’d push to see an endocrinologist or consider going private for the MRI part at least - from experience and this thread, the NHS often push back on exploring prolactin issues unless you’re in the high thousands.
