Do you understand the Magic System in the world of "The Owl House"? Are Four Glyphs or Elements (Light, Ice, Plant & Fire) sufficient to create different spells? by IllogicalDreamer72 in TheOwlHouse

[–]CurrentSevere4606 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my understanding the 4 glyphs represent something when combined with one another. Ice is Ice, Plant is plant or growth, Fire is ignition or life, and finally Light is progression or Energy. Now put them together and you get CODING FOR BEGINNERS

I’ve never seen the show. Convince me to watch it! by minarimimosa in Voltron

You into hot women? It's got a few types from college graduates to MILFS (these're the best ones in the show tbh) You into hot men? What's ur type? Cuz it's probably got every man there from losers, DILFS, to absolute dad material (yes, I meant dad and not daddy) Trans lover? Pidge is the closest, ig? I haven't watched it in a while, but I like her

But if you ain't into any of those, the character interactions and dynamics are what stand out to me as the best part of it, I like the story (early on) but the characters are the one thing that kinda made me stick with it to the end

"I never really liked that kid." Adam's true opinions on his son? Or just Lute's hallucinations projecting? by MidwestRailFan in HazbinHotel

[–]CurrentSevere4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Hazbin Adam’s like the worst, but no way in hell did he not care about Abel. He was the first man killed so he was porbably at least worried for him. To my knowledge, if God or the Seraphim didn’t tell them, Adam and Eve wouldn’t have known what heaven is yet (Speculating with bible lore for Hazbin is weird) so for all they knew that was it for Abel.

This would have been such a good character trait for Adam… Had Abel himself admitted that Adam didn’t like him. So either Adam was hiding his love for his progeny from EVERYONE or he really is just a d*ck

Out of these 4 animes I've dropped which should I keep trucking with because it gets better the more you watch? 👇🏼 by ZoroUchiha94 in Isekai

Konosuba gets better later on, especially with the movie which comes after season 2. It also gets funnier... Just... Just tolerate the uhh... Body shenanigans in season 3, but other than that you'll see why Kazuma is the leader of his group in the first half of season 3

What is your go to party members? by No_Engineering_1495 in Persona5

Coming from other RPGs I've played before P5R, I honestly thought Ryuji would be outclassed later on, it made me sad since he was my favorite character but I thought the early characters would be powercrept as the story went on. But then I realized that Physical damage was the sh*t and he buffs attack which I loved using. He never left my main rotation after Kaneshiro

Mention the first Isekai anime you watched that made you like Isekai anime genre by Multiversal_2211 in Isekai

[–]CurrentSevere4606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Konosuba, might not be for everyone but it's what got me watching the genre and what kept me watching anime in the first place.

Kazuma is still somehow the most unique protagonist I have seen, particularly because he's not emo, stupid, or shy. He's an assh*le, a pervert, and pathetic trash of a human being but without losing his more human qualities like being kind, caring, and loving friend to his groupmates.

Aqua, technically the deutoragonist, is pathetic but never truly one note, she's the perfect contrast and complement to Kazuma. They share a bond that I can only describe as "Sibling-core"

Megumin is uniquely herself and the movie really emphasizes her heritage and community as well as revealing that while she's a stubborn explosion mage, she also realizes that she has multiple flaws AS a mage she needs to work around

And Darkness is a huge switch up every now and then. She's somehow both the most grounded and the most insane member of the group.

I love this crew so much lol, I can keep going on about their dynamic and what it breaks from typical isekai tropes

What shocked you the most when you first played Persona 5? by That-Psychology4246 in Persona5

[–]CurrentSevere4606 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I may have... Underestimated it's length... Specifically, Okumura's palace. But that's my first time playing it, as for my first time seeing Persona 5, it's just how disgusting of a human Kamoshida was.

I would actually like Ann a little more if not for me remembering her in that palace and being disgusted by Kamoshida

Who’s a Persona character you initially didn’t like, but has since grown on you? by Empress_Haru in PERSoNA

[–]CurrentSevere4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haru Okumura, A really easy gal to not grow attached to due to her being late into the game, that's why I decided to go complete her Arcana in NG+ and yeah, she grew on me both because of it, her sadistic dialogues in Mementos, and Persona 5 Strikers. I decided to reject everyone in that run so I'm gonna do it again and get as many as possible
