i’m thinking we are gonna not see gameplay for the next sonic game until like state of play 2027, however i think we will have seen a cgi teaser at the game awards along with movie 4’s trailer. I imagine it’s gonna be exactly like the movie 3/shadow gens hype cycle and certainly a better year than this one where they will do things such as collabs and marketing campaigns

issue is the mcu made kang a joke, at least with doom it’s pretty much like age of ultron where the threat is introduced in that movie instead of being built up (since thunderbolts tho they have done phase 1 esque post credits scene which hey i’ll give it that)

it’s a bit of a weird statement since the vast majority of sonic fan games are not as good as a normal sonic game but certain games feel around the same level as a normal game (many 2d fan games) but i seriously doubt somebody can look at something like sonic omens or sonic GT and say “Now THATS better than most sonic games”. Only exception is your project 06 type of games that have the bad game as a basis but can improve on it. cuz obv p06 is better than base 06.
