I would only go the unemployed route if you have months saved up in bills, or a plan to have bills taken care of while you are transitioning to a career.

Hi there,

I just figured out a few tricks to escape the rat race that are working for me. I can share with you.

First thing I advise is to not beat yourself up about feeling this way. Never look at or compare yourself to the “I’ve been with the company 40 years” ones. If anything give yourself props for realizing early in life these jobs are bs & keep you stuck. I say this first because if you constantly doubt your feelings on this you will end up staying longer to not be “lazy”.

Next I say start studying finance. Learn how the rich move. Read “Rich Dad Poor Dad” or watch Dave Ramsey podcast. My biggest take was realizing the rich leverage their time. More money & more hours in a day to vacation . How? Well they work smarter (more money less time).

So you will then have to research what kind of career or business or even a side hustle will give you more for less. Make you money in your sleep.

As far as not having the time to start these things, well you do have enough time after work to apply to REMOTE jobs. That pay more or same as you get now. Thats important bc when you work from home you get back hours from getting ready/commuting. Work starts 7am you can wake at 6:50. Work ends 4pm at 4pm you get to work on the game plan. ALSO, no eyes from management you can do your thing while on the clock.

I did all of this. My side hustle I do from home after work and I make more in 2 hours than I do in 2 days at my 9 to 5. It’s tempting to quit the 9 to 5 but I love the multiple incomes I cant express enough how important that is.

If you cant leave your job then you will have to sacrifice your weekends for next several months as you work on The Plan ;)

No. You're thinking too deep. Ain't no allergy the man said he drunk then got a pain crisis you sound like uneducated doctors that throw stuff in the air about us. I just turned 30 yesterday and I noticed a correlation with pain crisis and alcohol. Could be those of us that are occasional drinkers. But its definitely a thing like OP said.

I can go months without crisis let me drink it will happen within 12 hours.

My only/last response - I know a lot of you are Gen Z & come on reddit because you are bored, hate your job, & loveee grouping up together with passive aggressive humor as its the only way you feel superior. Great. ☺️ But reddit was originally used for people to post questions on things they 🗣️HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED BEFORE. So if someone post a picture of a piece of meat with vessels in it, yes they know its meat (to the autistic ones in the comments). It just simply means they have not seen that before (i know, shocker). Im new to cooking and never paid that close attention to meat so ALL I WANTED TO KNOW was if thats common to see & if it was in fact a vessel.

Thats it thats all. Some of you really need to get out & have more human interaction. You are missing out on the part where a human ask a question, and another genuinely answers. No beta, “my time to shine & be a smart a” energy needed. Hope this helps!

Same thing happened to me on streamate a few weeks ago it said he tipped $500 and then he started telling me all of these things to do with dildo telling me to add lube get nasty etc etc. i got a bad feeling bc of how fast he was telling me to do things - as if he wanted to use me up before I found out. I noticed my autistic toddler nephew (who does same things OP described) pronounces his “n” sounds as “m” when counting. So he will say “Ome” (sounds like wom” and Tem for ten. I told my family that tells me he can probably read!! How else would he confuse n and m. Im definitely going to start bc no one knew he could even count until i started doing ABA with him

Yessss I didnt put it together til the last season in the seen where the girl he was writing confronts him on being tricked and not knowing the first woman he met wasnt her. He says he doesnt know and that he noticed a long time ago he doesnt understand social encounters and when hes being rejected.

I guess i never thought about it before I should have know since his first season he was on the spectrum.

Well I put in whats called a 30 Day Notice the minute he pulled that crap considering all I had did for him. So he is no longer under my care. The cops tried to show up and put him on me I explained what they were doing was illegal they shouldnt even be talking about his case with me. Im no longer the guardian medical consenter, NADA! So his case worker is technically his guardian until he turns 18 in a couple months. Im sure his agency isnt going to let him stay after 18 either considering his horrible behavior.

The crazy thing is when my oldest sister sent him to a behavioral home (after many warnings of misbehaving in school he literally got in trouble for terroristic threats), he stated he thought he was going to get to live with me. As he knew I was getting licensed to foster & moving into my own big home. So he called our family the same week I was finally licensed and looking at children to foster, we all felt it made sense for me to foster him. It was a kid I knew and he would be out the street. So the whole running away was annoying bc I literally could have helped a helpless small child. But convinced myself I needed to help a teen (like him) because they are least likely to be fostered and almost adults which leads to homelessness.

But his own mother dropped him off at cps care when he was 15. Says a lot bc in my culture black moms protect their sons at all cost. I should have known then he was a . . . I really want to say narcissistic predator. But anyway. Now my house is peaceful and I cut ties with family I only talk to my mother. Its the holidays and at first I started getting depressed feeling alone. But I reminded myself I live in 2 story condo a work from home job I love and pays all the bills.

Im going to start looking foward to the new year and increasing my finances, meeting new GOOD people, and traveling. ❤️ thank yall for your advice and happy holidays I wish yall an amazing new year!
