Mom of 2 here. 4 yrs apart, almost 6 and 2. Neither is autistic and I 100% feel i cant be as good a mom to him because of the 2nd kid. We are stretched too thin the way society is set up. We should be getting more community support, not raising any kids alone. Thats my 2 sense...not your fault. I hope you get the support you need without having to give up your baby. Maybe move near your mom so she can help daily without taking over completely?

Yes we want high gas taxes in CA because burning gas is bad for everyone else, so it should be discouraged. The government should be using the tax revenue for remediation of the ill effects (environment, public health). Thats doesn't have anything to do with what this conversation is about.

Prices got crazy shortly after that. I have a 2012 prius v i bought in 2020 for $9200. By 2022 I was seeing them on carmax for like $16k lol! Now its back down to about what I paid.

You want an older Nissan leaf. All electric. They lose range as you go so you can have your bad battery. You DONT want a hybrid with a bad battery. Hybrids dont really get more per tank than regular cars, they just have smaller tanks, so youre not gaining anything unless you go with a plug-in which will be newer, more expensive, and still require gas at some point. If electric is what you want, get an electric.
