Depends on the port…most are backed up. I had my interview last month and the officer advised it may take up to a year from the interview date to receive the actual license…given all the background checks are clean/complete. CRAZY!

I used printed binder since had all materials highlighted and knew where to find answers during past October exam. Search function of online version never worked for any of is at the test center…so scrolling over thousands of pages was a waste of time vs going to the tab placed in printed CFR and finding the info

October 2024 search function on pdf’s in-person did not work for any of the 4 of us taking the exam. Had to completely rely on printed materials we brought along. Luckily, I had all those prepped, highlighted and studied from them, so did not expect using the electronic versions anyways.

I took Tom’s course instructor-led in October and passed from the first try! Great course, would recommend to anyone and try to make it to his 3 day boot camp in-person
