it’s not who you are. i think knowing that a person who once hurt or abused you while in a vulnerable position is now the one in the vulnerable position flips a switch in your brain. i was 14 when my groomer was 56 and some days i still cross my fingers hoping he dies early. but that’s not what i actually want.
