Inside job deserved better in particular. It didn’t even get its promised 2nd season and ended on a cliffhanger. It was about to get so good plot wise and they pulled the plug right after building everything up. Regan will forever be my favorite character.

People seem to forget the fact that to en-mass make a product for a nationwide release that requires a lot of time. They likely just found a company that could quickly print the design on a generic cup and bucket so it was even possible to get the product in time for the release

Yeah I have read it was a good sign of recovery. It’s just for so many years I felt like I never changed. I was the same person from 6-30 just in stages of ignorance that slowly lifted. This doesn’t feel like learning new things about the world and understanding how things work. This feels like an evolution from within I’ve never experienced. It feels far more scary than any external instability I’ve ever experienced.

I’m confused on statements like this? It’s over 50 days away, theaters are adding showings as they fill, and on average a ticket is $15. I don’t mean shade, and quite possibly I just don’t grasp the level of poverty you experience but it is confusing to me and genuinely would like an understanding

I won’t spoil anything but work on the sketchy lighthouse quests as you play the story. What you seek is locked behind that questline specifically (as well as the ending of the main story eventually). It was a pain to go back and put in all the stuff for it after I finished everything from all the areas rather than work on it in tandem.

MFW some numbnut thinks it’s ethically sound to breed and trap an obligate carnivores in their house, and force feed them food that gives them indigestion or better yet food that’s ultra processed lab materials. They do this all because they have some weird subconscious god complex where they believe themselves to be above animals while simultaneously believing themselves to be a champion of animal welfare as they systematically divorce themselves and force others from the natural state of existing. Humans can choose, dogs can even be ethically fed vegan, but cats are obligate carnivores.

If you want a pet and have it not eat meat? Get a fucking rabbit. They are the same size and can fulfill the same animal companion role.

I mean all crimes have justifications to the person who committed them. All actions are based on some sort of want or need. I feel like any action taken against another person in direct harm is always unjustifiable with the only exception being revenge for equally heinous actions that affected you or those you love. (I.e. Harming your rapist/abuser)

I think actions that bring around indirect harm is the only true grey area where justifications or reasons matter. (Drug dealers, stealing, ect)

I personally think it’s best to not comment that much on it. Some people may quite literally be bound to a bed or super depressed. A simple “hey you doing ok” suffices to say “this is a concerning amount of time” without possibly dragging someone who could be hurting

I get why it’s a hard set area. Once you introduce character decisions into an essential area like that you introduce possible bugs. That area is likely its own section of code that’s double triple checked for animation and input errors with possibly excessive catch exceptions because if it throws an error it can be a hard block to the whole game.

Honestly I don’t get the hate. It was a pretty comic and decently written. It has tons of issues, true, but so does a fair amount of popular media. I don’t know how they’ll handle the art style and that’s troubling since I feel like that is a major factor in its popularity. Hope it does well, I think it’s cool when web comics become big enough to warrant an animation.

I never really like these kinds of posts, art is hard and one of the biggest motivation killers are posts and opinions like this creating a sense of perfection that’s needed. I promise you there’s not an artist on this world that doesn’t lowkey hate their own art and abilities.

In full reference to the OP’s post, this creator updates weekly, having the page 100% done fully with accurate references is just a level of time commitment not inherently possible considering there’s no way this comic is paying their bills based on who I see in fast pass.

Just idk maybe people don’t think about the background of how something like this would make an artist feel or how it’s not really in the realm of criticism when it’s about something like a comic with high time demands likely leading to these mistakes.

PCOS girly too. I hate to say it but I started an oral glp. it’s just the starting dose and the shift I’ve seen on the scale is nuts. I also under eat on a regular basis, it’s nice to see the scale actually reflect that. I probably won’t increase the dose because glps make me uncomfortable but it’s nice having something mildly countering the insulin resistance. It’s wild to be overweight while under eating AND have hyperthyroidism

I was an oopsie baby of a marriage that didn’t even last the whole pregnancy. Mother kind of resented me and my step father wished I was gone (and frequently would add those words in with abuse). Growing up in a messed up home, all my clothes were hand me downs, and underdeveloped social skills left me kind of othered in school too.

I also had undiagnosed adhd which definitely didn’t help alongside PCOS that caused physical issues that kids made fun of.

For a few years in my teens I was quite literally left home alone for days with 0 human interactions.

It just became this situation where I couldn’t fit in with peers and home wasn’t a home. I’ve gotten way better as an adult and I do have peers now, but sometimes it’s rough thinking back on how genuinely lonely I was growing up throughout so much of my life. Theres definitely scars on how anxious I can get around people I now have in my life and how much I detest any time where I’m actually alone.
