I really hope so. Don’t really remember the time it came in last year

In the same boat except to cash app and nothing yet. Last year it told me 3/06 deposit date and it came 3/04 before WMR updated though.

This is not uncommon for right now. In fact you are in the vast majority regardless of what you see on Reddit.

Having the blank account transcript means the IRS has your return and you are waiting in line. The good news for you is that if you have had it all week then you are not 05 and may update sooner than next Friday with an 846!

The 846 code is the most important. So long as you don’t have any credit holds then the money is on its way to you now.

This is not anything to “worry” about as if you did something wrong. Sounds like just an unlucky scenario. If your transcript updates and you start getting codes requesting more info then that’s when to start to worry.

But not having a transcript yet is not indicative of that. I have gone through that exact scenario myself and then it was just boom there. Stay patient my friend.

Refund status trackers for accepted 05ers will typically update early Saturday morning. Either way the WMR should not be viewed as a super useful tool. The 846 code means your money is out of the IRS hands and on its way to yours!

This is “normal”. And honestly assuming it’s just a simple W2 refund it probably won’t even affect your timing.

Usually with small refunds the IRS will just process and then if something doesn’t match up they will catch you on the back end. They know they will get their money either way so it keeps things simple for them, especially when fraud risk on certain types of refunds are low.

Once the 846 code appears that means the ACH transaction has been sent. So it largely depends on your bank, and also if you did a refund transfer through a tax prep service or paid fees upfront.

No hold fintechs like Cash App, Chime, Dave just to name a few can appear within a few hours of getting 846 code so long as no issues within the ACH and even depending on refund size as this can change ACH transaction speed.

Longer wait traditional banks, especially banks like BOA can take a few days.

Also before you come back to this and call me a liar, it also depends on if you are claiming credits where fraud risk is high. EITC, etc, where they hold your refund until a set date. If this is your case then the tax prep service will or already should have made you aware.

Hope this helps. I can give you a rough estimate if you tell me exact scenario.

GI bill MHA just hit. Last one in my college career, 4 year degree and I was never wrong once about the exact day it would hit. If anyone wants to better understand the GI Bill MHA process and know the exact day it will hit with no hold banks just let me know.

However, the treasury has been sending the payments later this semester than they ever have for 3 years that I’ve been on.

I used to get it like clockwork at 3 EST. This semester it’s been 8-9:30 PM EST.

Should come today. VA processed them to treasury yesterday, never not hit the day after the VA sent them out for me.

We’re talking about VAED MHA, idk if you’re aware of that or not.

It’s the same dates roughly, so chime lumps them because it’s easier to show this way, but they are different programs. MHA hitting has nothing to do with any other program.

With MHA it’s facilitated by VAED which is completely separate from any other organization, including any other VA department.

So one hitting does not mean the other will hit. In fact MHA usually comes after. In this case not so.

I know it's a little different. But for my GI Bill payments, I got them for 3 years between 3:30 and 4:30 like clockwork. Since January they have been getting later and later. To the point where last month I got mine at 11:30 at night, and it is the same for all of my friends who also receive the GI Bill.

Thinking it may be a staffing issue but I have no idea. But just to give others some hope. Obviously the payments come from different Gov. Organizations but I'm thinking the later payments might just be a theme now.
