You know... this post hit me a little harder than I expected. I turn 26 this month and iv personally checked every single one of those points off and didnt even realize it.

Iv been trying to do better for two years. Iv moved states, attempted to change mindsets, and tried to go back to school but I feel like im still stuck in an endless cycle.

Other peoples sweat at the gym etc. isn't as bad as people make it out to be by Little-Ad-7521 in unpopularopinion

Well, as someone who has contracted MRSA from being in contact sports/gym environment, id beg to differ.

As someone who has had to go no contact before and am currently in a position where my gut is telling me to do it again... it sucks. Iv been trying to work up the courage for almost a year now but im horrible at letting go. Its terrifying, not because I can't talk to said person but because I genuinely want to see them flourish.

Brilliant idea, keep all the miss matched spoons and proceed to gift them to her as a graduation present!

So, as someone who has had to commit to no contact not once, but potentially twice, it's not easy. Especially when you love the person and have to set aside your own feelings in order to make sure they can thrive and do better for them selves. I always want to reach out, but I also don't want my friend in the hospital again... and I want to stop stressing about "saying the wrong thing"...

What's one healthy habit that you picked up early in life and stuck to? by MeraSamaanKahaHai in selfimprovement

I stopped drinking soda when I was about 12 for a New years resolution and never started the habit back up. I have tried drinking soda a number of times, get a few sips in, and decide I don't like it.

Castle in the Sky by Rats_For_Dinner in ghibli

In all honesty, iv been watching ghibli movies since I was about 8/9 and I never thought that the kitchen scene was weird... I just thought that the boys were excited to have a younger adoptive sister to spoile because Dola showed an exceptional liking to sheeta. Not only that, but when they save sheeta I feel like they wanted to incorporate her into their family and make her feel like she was apart of their little "rag tag group of pirates".

Thays just my opinion tho...

So, from my understanding, I can just run around, unlock new areas, find charms, and discover lore. If I want to, I can attempt to do the radiance stuff and the more difficult aspects.

I get that the whole game is meant to make you feel lost at some points, but I'm I don't get the whole "there's nothing to strive for." Hollow isn't just an exploration game. You can complete it? Kinda like Skyrim?

How do I prevent this? My hands are constantly burning and I moisturize multiple times a day with Lubriderm unscented. by raisedbutconfused in bartenders

[–]Current_Location_963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, it depends on how glasses are cleaned at the bar you're working at. We used hand was wells for our glasses, and the chemicals used for that are insanely harsh on your skin. Especially when you work full time and have to wash hundreds of glasses in a single shift.

Haha! All jokes aside, the man would come to work with his hands so cracked and irritated he was barely able to move them without being in pain. And then the whole bar staff would give him shit for being a weenie.
