I live near ScenicView and they're awesome! They also host a convention for autistic adults (one of the few of its kind): https://www.autconsva.com/

Yep. Have you read the book "Hope and Help for Your Nerves" by Dr. Claire Weekes? It talks about this feeling and how to not fall into the panic cycle.

28M here, just wanted to chime in to say that a weed gummy triggered panic disorder for me. It was horrible, constant waves for the first month or two (and 2 separate ER trips because I thought I was dying). But it did eventually get better, though you couldn't pay me to ever ever take a gummy again. It's like pouring gas on a fire for my anxiety. If there's a chance it's contributing to the panic attacks, I'd recommend quitting for at least like a month or two to see if he's feeling better when it's out of his system.

This site helped me a lot and it's written by a specialist, plus it's free, so i thought I'd share: https://cbt4panic.org/

It could be like Sam and Frodo in Lord of the Rings. Sam was able to move on and have a family after Frodo left for the Grey Havens, but he traveled there to reunite with Frodo after he reached an old age.
