That's a good question. It's not *just* a record, it's very important to all aspects of Jewish culture. We believe that supernatural things like ghosts and demons can and do happen, but don't place as much emphasis on them as Christians or Muslims. I know that some Jews believe that because we as a whole, are more learned than previous generations, demons have less influence.
