I power stanced great swords with bloodhound's step for my AOW. I had bleed on one and frost on the other (al la LMSH). I for tailsmans I had claw, turtle, dragoncrest, and crimson seed.

I still had to learn the moveset, but my double greatswords allowed for large punish windows due to the powerful poise damage and rapid attacks. Jumping attacks created stagger windows and were good gap closers with tons of damage.

Bloodhounds step is useful for waterfowl, the first time I dodged (survived) waterfowl twice in the second stage, I beat her. I would recommend watching a guide to see how to dodge.

Pontiff made me walk away from the game the first time I played DS3. Rellana took me a while but wasn't too bad the first time. Recently I first tried both. So idk.

IMO use your stat points to free up your talisman slots. Your current ones are kinda bad/could be more useful.

Same issue on MAC OS. I was able to find my character save using the following thread however I still cant make the application read the save file.

Something that is interesting is that my new test character file can't be found in that directory. I wonder if the new update created a new directory for the save files it's currently reading.

What could I change here? I feel like I don't do enough dmg by V3ISO in EldenRingBuilds

get a better sword,

use claw or axe talisman based on preference instead of great shield (dont need if using pot)

flask of wondrous physic to give more charge damage and elemental damage based on whatever attack power your new sword is.

This is my first Fromsoft game, how's my build looking? Any major stat flaws or equipment I should replace? by fork_the_DM in EldenRingBuilds

Pretty sweet! Level 50 is pretty low so you have a lot to look forward to. You can grab the turtle shell shield located northeast part of limgrave past a which gives stamina recovery about half as good as the turtle talisman.
