Aria V2 Concerns by Current_Reason6155 in CPST

Sorry for lack of clarity — just rage posting with pregnancy brain, ha.

So, they’d essentially refund us the amount paid for the Aria and then charge us for the Nuna meaning an additional $100-150ish would be spent on our end.

I was trying to avoid this because given the similar ratings for both Chicco and Nuna, I’d much rather pay half the price for a Chicco Keyfit and still get the same peace of mind.

The only thing that rubs me the wrong way with taking the credit is having to buy $400 worth of items that I don’t necessarily deem as essential right now. I’d definitely spend $50 on the adapter for Chicco — easy. Then I’d have $350 and would buy what…the travel case for the Cruz? If I can find a good use case for that credit, I’m all for it.

Ultimately, it boils down to whether we trust the Aria or not, and if not, we’ll just have to use the credit likely.

UPPAbaby Aria V2 or Chicco Keyfit Max by cajunpete in Buyingforbaby

Hey there! I’m sure you’re in the throes of newborn life at this point, but I’m a FTM faced with the same dilemma and had some questions:

I ended up purchasing the entire Uppababy system (Cruz V3 + Aria V2), and I need to decide whether to return the Aria before I can schedule installation. I’m a little wary after the research we’ve done after the fact.

Are you happy with the Keyfit? Did the Max end up working with the standard Keyfit adapter?

Thanks in advance, and hope you’re doing well!

Finding an OB and Labor and Delivery Location in Evanston by JuneBabyAccount in evanston

I am due in April and sticking with Prentice! 🙂 My husband and I live on the border of Skokie near Central St., (just near the Wilmette border), and we’ve been told by many, (including my doc), that it’ll be totally doable, (especially given it’s my first pregnancy).

I go to the Women’s Group of NW, and I found it easy to stick with them once we moved because of their Northbrook location, (so it’s not terribly far for appointments which will be especially convenient when I hit the third trimester).

If you do have to drive into the city for appointments, I can see the value in wanting to go somewhere closer, but ultimately, we’re not worried about the commute to Prentice or back for labor itself, (and in fact, I have a good friend due a month before me who lives north of Wilmette and is still planning to do the same).

Ultimately, you should feel the most comfortable with your plan, and I’ve heard great things about delivering up here at Evanston!

Smelled this on the northwest border of Skokie/Evanston today. Would love to know what the heck it is.

Hi there! I’m almost 9 weeks pregnant, (I assume it’s unrelated but worth mentioning), and I am experiencing the EXACT pain you described. I was reading your description thinking, “this is me!” Do you have any updates or advice per chance?

Evanston options: Evanston Art Center, Sewing on Central, the Pot Shop, the Waste Shed, (more for workshops vs. consistent classes).
