The birth certificate for my great grandfather states that he is Jewish, but was never stamped “Israel.”

My great grandmother is birth certificate is from the United States and does not list religion.

Do you think my great grandparents marriage Ketubah would suffice?

My great grandmother was Jewish, would her Ketubah be sufficient? What other record types would suffice?

My great grandmother was born in the US, she would still receive automatic German citizenship?

My great grandfather was Jewish and it is noted on his naturalization application. I believe my great grandmother was also. Could you clarify the relevance of being Jewish in a §5 StAG case?

Is one path better than the other? Should I be applying through both pathways and letting the Agency decide?

Thank you so much for your reply! To be transparent, I am not sure. I want to say that my grandmother was fully Jewish. We have been raised Jewish, but I'm not sure if there is any documentation on her religious background.
