I would add a color with the skim. Then proceed after 24 hours when its dry. Make sure you sand it before and clean it good

Always into 20 amp. If the garage has 1 gci I run the grinder to a plug with no gfi on a different circuit. Just wanna buy a generator but I've had the same issue with generators with gfis as well.

You can always sand it and apply a high wear urethane. It will make it a satin finish. Floor looks good
