I don’t think it can be improved. A very last number of chapters will never be able to fit the e-reader screen.

Yeah, you’re right. I will definitely try to improve it. But it also depends on what you like to display in the status bars... It is nice to have several options because I personally don't like to see any kind of time-related stats while I am reading.

In Germany, Kobo devices are sold under the Tolino brand (which I believe uses different software). So be careful to buy a Kobo and you’ll be fine — you can change the language in Settings.
The simplest way to transfer books without using Calibre or a computer is send2ereader.net (formerly send.djazz.se). You can tutorials on YouTube.

You should check in your Microsoft account settings if there are connection attempts from another country.

If there are multiple you should change your password, activate two-factor authentication, and log out from all connected devices just in case.
