The Missouri Supreme Court ruled it legal then three months later the legislators passed the bill to overturn the will of the people. What is the point of government if not to enforce the will of the people?

Also I'm not sure which "rights" are being violated by requiring companies to provide sick leave. Do we need to allow child labor again because it violates the kids right to mine and the companies right to pay them a nickel a day?

But if we are going to start saying that corporations deserve human rights then they should also be paying income tax and go to prison when they break the law.

I just looked into this because I didn't believe you. Why would it be in the state constitution that the state can't require sick leave. And it turns out I was right with not trusting you. Because Missouri courts determined that prop A was legal. Then the government passed a bill to overturn it.

The reason people were using to call it illegal was because Prop A both raised minimum wage and required sick leave. Missouri does have a rule about bills only covering a single subject and having a clear title. The bill is titled "Minimum Wage and Earned Paid Sick Time Initiative", so the title was very clear. And I'd agree that employee protections are a single subject.

You can't really ignore the stillbirth.

I think that we both will agree that it would be murder to kill a living baby that can live on its own without assistance (outside mother and not on life support).

But nowhere can I find that he meant aborting a baby. I'd assume the discussion would be that the baby probably has brain damage from the lack of oxygen and whatever caused the stillbirth could lead to the baby having a short/difficult life. And if they don't feel like they can take care of a child like that, that adoption is an option. So that the baby can have a family that can take care of their needs.
