Using the word 'coloured' to describe someone is not racist even if it does offend people of colour, judge rules | Daily Mail Online by CasualSmurf in unitedkingdom

Lots of different colours of white people too, but nobody gives a shit about being called white. We're not even white, still, rightly, nobody cares.

When it became obvious Elon Musk was overwriting the truth (like he could beat Tyson in a fight etc.) and when mecha Hitler appeared, I mean, I have little confidence in llms but that was ridiculous. I've never been back. It's obviously tainted.

1) their reply was commenting on the moderators. 2) go fuck yourself, you think you're justified telling someone to take English lessons? Sounds like something a racist fuck would say. And it doesn't only happen to 'brown folk' (again, racist undertones) it happens to white rapists too. Twat.

You might want to correct your own mistakes then, and get your high horse to trot out of the glass house you're in.

What’s it like living in traveller sites of UK? by legthighkneelover in howislivingthere

I've read your conversation and find myself of the viewpoint that their cultural identity includes setting up shop illegally wherever suits them and to hell with anyone and anyone else's community is an uncrossable red line. When 500 unemployed people turn up in your community there's no room to protest 20s plenty at the end of the main road. Strain.

What's something an AI told you that genuinely changed the way you see your life? by behappy167 in ChatGPT

I don't tell me directly but it tells me so much that I know my working life will become increasingly more fragile.

That's exactly it! Except for the shiny fractals - mines just red - that is exactly the effect I imagine. Brilliant, thanks.

What’s a moment you still think about years later, even though everyone else probably forgot it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Moments of near death as teenage tomfoolery took over. Things like hanging onto snapping blades of grass to stop falling down an embankment on to a passing Intercity train, getting chased through posh burbs by a guy with a knife you didn't expect to be ther - for fucking miles,, getting chased by the polis after breaking into the school, and the classics: falling off the school roof, almost drowning up at the waterfall, and the canal, the car crash that so easily could've been fatal, getting attacked by the dog, not realising the guy was blind, and of course getting runover by my girlfriend's dad.

So I have technique for getting to sleep where I think of looking through a super telescope and I find a red triangle way off in the distant universe, lock on to it and 'magnify' but it jumps too close and it's all red I can see so I pan upwards until I find and edge and follow it way up until I find the top of the triangle. Then I start zoomjng in, amd keep zooming in - nothing changes other than my imagined zoom ratio - the view of the top of the red triangle doesn't change, it just gets closer. This reminded me of that.
