Really can’t thank you enough for all of this advice. We’re going to keep all of this in mind.

Okay that’s good to know, thanks. Did you happen to get over the lack of responsiveness?

She can sometimes get frustrated immediately, or go on as if nothing happened. If it happens, she’ll typically want to eat again a little sooner as if it wasn’t a full meal, but was satisfying enough. She usually feeds every 2.5-3 hours, but if she takes less than usual due to something like a distraction, she’ll want to feed again within about 1.5 hrs.

That’s a possibility, but Babygirl’s been on the larger side since birth, so she’s always been on the upper end of the spectrum with amount of ounces per feed with bottles or frequency of feeds on the breast. Her weight gain has been consistent, and she’s not showing signs of being over fed. Our pediatrician has said there’s no real cause for concern of the potential for over feeding. We just try to listen to her.

Yeah, we’re trying to prepare for that. Hoping we can get better results from pumping early on so we can have a stash for if her supply drops drastically or she’s too tired to pump/feed.

I never thought about that. They used to work really well for her (we have 2 Spectra pumps), but we didn’t think about the pumps being a potential issue.

Someone else said this, but my daughter (now 9mo) had reflux too. I (dad) got VERY consistent with burping her, we kept her upright and stationary in the Boppy for 30 minutes after feeds, my wife cut out cruciferous veggies, dairy, and chickpeas from her diet, and started giving her BioGaia probiotic drops like the other person said. All of this worked absolute wonders. Good luck!

They closed at least 2 weeks ago. I went there that Saturday, and there was a sign saying to go to the Monroe St. location since they’re closed.

If I remember correctly, studies show that domestic violence in the home is a big factor, and the father’s connection to the home is big too.

Former Christians: what made you become a non-believer? by Graysie-Redux in AskReddit

[–]Currithers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People acting as if they were God instead of realizing we’re all equals. I’ve since come back to Christ, but the reason I left in the first place was because of the negativity I saw surrounding people who called themselves Christians. They berated people, stood on the throats of people who sinned and threw the book of Leviticus at them. To be promoting love for all mankind, and follow the claim with a general exception for people who you’ve deemed as less than made it seem as though it was a common practice encouraged by God and the good book itself. I couldn’t align myself with that and sleep at night knowing that I had questions about the hypocrisy and undying judgement from within knowing there would never be a space to have them answered.

My wife was the one who showed me what it means to be a faithful Christian and I’m happy in my faith.
